Our new cat - Lizzie

About 3 week ago John Thomas (my youngest) found a cat in our driveway and brought it to the house.  This is one of the prettiest cats I had ever seen.  She was very healthy looking but obviously in heat.

He wanted to keep her so bad.  I explained to him that it may be a neghbors cat who was just exploring around....but I did find it odd that she let him pick her up.  Most cats Ive seen, including Napster, will dart off when they see a stranger.

We fed her and put her back outside.  The next night she was back again. Again, we fed her and put her back out.  She stayed gone for 2 days....although I would see her walking near the fence line in the back of my field.

She came back a few days later and hasn't left since.  She stays outside for the most part, but she stays under my deck.  When coming home the other night, we saw another cat with the same colors running down the road and then jumped into a ditch.  This is the same road where there are no houses...and many animals get dropped off there because its private (this road borders one side of my property).

I feel safe thinking she was another drop off so I guess she is our new companion.  She has really taken to John Thomas.  She is very aggrssive towards Napster though so I have to keep her outside.  Napster doesnt like her none too well either.

I believe she IS pregnant now.  Her belly is getting bigger.  Im going to get her spayed....but I guess I have to wait until she has the kittens.  I have no idea what I will do with kittens but I dont think I have the heart to spay her now.

I wish she and Napster could get along so we could make her an inside cat.  We left her inside fo 2 nights and woke up to the worst sounding cat fight Ive ever heard.  They werent physically fighting....just REALLY loud.

We  let her in a few times a day now when Napster is sleeping.  Napster has been the only animal here for 2 years now (except for some birds we had) so I dont see her welcoming any animal......especially a cat....lol

I will post pics of her soon.  We named her Lizzie.....after explaining to my son that Napster is the Queen and that no other cat could be Queen....lol..I know.....I know...
He asked if we could name the new cat after a Queen.....and I thought of Queen Elizabeth......and thus came the name Lizzie.

She does have issues though......she attacks our feet when we walk past her......not sure why.  It doesnt bring blood.....but I dont think she is playing.....I dunno.....

Also, she eats like 4 times what Napster eats......I guess because she is preggo. hmm

Well.....I just went to my folder on my computer and saw that my Lzzie pics hve been replaced by random drawings in Paint.....one of them even spells out "Jackass" in a weird sort of "drawing" way....lol

Seven year olds!!!

I'll have to take some new pics of her today....she is REALLY preggo now....she has lost the hair around her nipples.  I think thats a close sign.  I havent had kittens in so long I dont remember...lol
