I appreciate what you all are doing....and it may not even be any of you doing it......it could be someone internal on their site (a member). I just want the hornets to stay in the hornets nest and not be stirred up.
If you want to contact anyone from that site, maybe we can think of a more discreet way to do it - at least until we tighten our security here. I know there are a few people I'd like to contact too - like protodog - but I have no way of doing it.
I don't even go to TP anymore. That place has become boring. So I just figure that with how boring it is some of their members will began to stray. Just like I did.
Well, I may be who is at fault because I posted about someone getting in touch with molliemae. I usually check out their site about once a week just to see if anything has changed. It hasn't.
I know in the past that whenever someone posted a link to our forum there, the hacker went on his/her spree. I just don't want that to happen again. I am very much inclined to believe that it is an internal job - someone who still has problems with me that is still a member there is doing it in hopes that the hacker will see this forum and return here.
I notice my name gets brought up alot over there still. Last week they banned someone and accused the person of being me...lol. It wasn't me, but I guess they just can't let go. I think we have all moved past their games, but some of them cannot, it seems.
Anyway, I'm glad to see new members continuing to trickle in. By the end of February I look to have the site moved to a domain and published to the web. At that point, it will be available in the search engines and more members will find us that way.
Thank you all so much for being kind enough to join this board. I just really want a place where pet lovers can go and 'just talk' without 'fear' about getting banned or deleted. And like I said, IF anyone is banned/deleted - reasons will be given. Thats how we learn.

I'm not going to turn this into a war of words, it's just really sad that they cannot let go. We have moved on. We pulled our pranks, spoke our minds, and moved on. We haven't spammed their boards - so WHAT is their problem? Anyway, I've been up long hours working on this and a few other things so I guess I'm just tired and that set me off. Blame me for what I did and I'll accept it, but don't go accusing me of things I didn't do. I know they didn't use my name specifically, but still - I don't think it's any of you here. I really believe those are legitimate new posters. Those posts (mixed breeds) are going to happen. Eventually they will happen here. I hope we can make those people feel welcome, even if we don't like what they say. I never want to set an example like the one I see in that thread above.
Ansy...not a slam...I'm merely curious, but why do you visit there at all if their posts upset you so? Chances are you're always going to see something there that miffs you...

Thats a good question. Honestly, there are still things I can learn from their board. They have a broad memberbase and the board moves quickly. Even though I am not familiar with Pitts, I enjoy keeping up with the legislation on the bans concerning them. It stuff like that. Also, because I happen to like some cross breeds, I read those posts. That is my problem because those are th posts where the sh*t hits the fan over there. Lastly, I guess some part of me wants them to move on. Some of us (and I include myself) said some pretty nasty things on those other boards I made, and once people got it off their chest, they were ok with it all. They just needed to vent and that gave them an outlet. Now, we have all moved on from it.
I know that they will always have issues with cross breeding over there. Every forum will have members that has issues with that because lots of people just don't believe in it. That is not the part that bothers me. It's the accusing 'us' of being the ones that are doing it. They have our IP's, they have banned us through proxy servers who hide our IP's so they would know if it were really one of us doing it and just ban it again. They know it isn't us, but they keep on spreading the blame. I dunno, that just irks me.
I guess the best thing I can do is stay away from there and seek my information here, afterall, thats why I made the board. I'm sure eventually someone will come along with an answer. Thanks for asking that question Smooshie. You made me see my own problem!
And BTW, Shadow, (or anyone for that matter) please don't EVER feel like I'd get mad or anything if you post on other boards. We all do that. This board is still a slow mover because we don't have a solid member base yet. In fact, if you ever come across another good site - post the link here. I have no problem with that whatsoever!

I was never banned, but I didn't post much at all.. and I only vented a couple of times but that board never seemed welcoming at all.
I have over a thousand post over there. But sometimes I felt like the odd ball out for some reason. The main things that bothered me was the drama over cross breeds. I feel like, its your money so buy what you want. And I think its great for people to rescue but its not for everyone. So lets not try to push it on everyone else. Oh well, I look over there everyday but its just not the same.
I have been sick today and just got to feeling better and signed on to see this. I can't believe it. I have not posted this website over there at all. I don't want them coming and hacking it. However, I did post something for Faye_Girly to check her email. That is how Faye_Girly found out about this site. They were evidently ok with it because they didn't bash or ban....
