The mastiff pups i was looking at this weekend are still for sale. I emailed the breeder and told her of my past week problems and told her that all my puppy fund was gone because of having to pay off tickets and getting a new drivers license and she was so nice. The people that stole my stuff cost me 500 dollars. Well, the lady was nice and told me that if I wanted to make out a payment plan then she would understand. All because she likes me and that I know stuff on ginat breed dogs. She said people have called her for the pups and she has had to turn them down because they don't even know what a neapolitan mastiff was and they just thought it was a cool sounding dog. Maybe I can talk hubby into paying for half now and a few weeks later paying for half. I had my heart set on a puppy. These puppies have had all the yearly shots and rabies. The only thing wise I would have to do this year would get her spayed. So everyone cross your fingers. Hopefully hubby will agree. Here is a pic of them. We can either pick the Tawny or Black.
Aren't they darling?? I think you should get the tawny one. I've never seen one that color before, usually just the bluey-black kind. I just like things that I don't see very often. I think that's why I chose Chopper (he only has one ear) and Eli (he is old and missing teeth) and Mollie ( they said she was mean-WHATEVER!!) I like different things. But they're both darling. Maybe you could convince dh to get 'em both?? HA!! Wouldn't that be fun?? Oscar could use a couple of playmates about his same size, eh??
Good luck in convincing hubby! They are gorgeous! If you can't get both, I'd go for the tawny one too! Her coloring reminds me of a weim & I think it is a beautiful color. She sounds like a great breeder who is truly interested in finding the best homes for her pups. I think it is super that she is willing to work with you. Keep us posted on how it goes! All fingers & paws in my household are crossed!
Ohhhh they are so cute!!! My vote is with the tawny. We are looking at getting a Corso pup (hopefully) in the next year or two.......I just Love mastiffs of any kind. Good luck with your puppy!!
Brad thinks the Tawny one looks evil. LOL He said that she looks like she is up to no good. So of course he likes the black on better. I am still waiting for the breeder to get back with me. Usually she doesn't contact me until around 11.
Tell Brad "What does he know?" This isn't his decision...it is ours...lol.. besides he has already gotten to make the decision on the forum's name!! LOL
