We went and met the pup today and it was love at first sight! We played for almost an hour and then we adopted her!!! We decided to name her Kaia (pronounced K - eye - ah)


She is soooo much like Koda I cannot believe it. We are picking her up tomorrow night(Wednesday night) she is being spayed in the morning. I can't wait to get her home. In a couple weeks she will be going to get groomed and all cleaned up. and then she starts obedience on the 21st of March!


Thanks for all of your help and I will post pictures of her after she gets home!

Thank you! She is a five month old golden Retriever/Chow mix. She is adorable and she has this chubby sweet face! lol

It actually has alot of meanings.


In Hawaiian it means "the sea",


In Norwegian it means, "blessed, pure and holy",


It also means "peace" in Russian


It means "elder little sister" in Hopi Indian,


In other languages (I don't remember what they all were) it means "Stay and don't go back", "home", "rock", "solid and tough", "earth", "strength", "enlightenment", "summer night", "can do", "become well known", and "prosperous".


So as you can see she has alot of meaning behind her name! lol
