Shadow, go back into chat and see if it happens again. Proto cannot moderate the chat, only the forum. It couldn't have been because of proto that you got kicked. Who else was in there?
Check your PM. I didn't ban you from chat. I can't ban anyone from chat because I'm only a forum moderator, not a chat moderator. I think there's a glitch in chat; I had problems with it on Sunday.
I realize that because of problems elsewhere, it's easy to think the worst of moderators, but I hope you'll give me a chance. I would only ban someone under EXTREME circumstances; I'm really not the banning type. And I certainly wouldn't ban someone for questioning one of my edits.

I just went to the chat room and it isn't working right. It'll be tomorrow before I can look into it. Shadow, don't be upset with proto for editing your comments on the forum. She did the right thing, however it was me that led you into temptation by using the word in the first place. You were only stating what I had already said. That was my fault and I apologize. I have went back and edited my own post because it did fall under the category of name calling. I accept responsibility for what you said because, anyone would have figured that if I can say it - anyone else can too. You were correct in thinking that, unfortunately, I led you in the wrong direction.
I'll have the chat working again tomorrow, hopefully. Right now, Denise is the only person besides me who can take action in chat. I haven't caught up with jawlaw to give her the mod privelages yet, but I assure you there is no way it could have been proto.
You guys are losing it. Could you be more co-hesive? What's with all the chat? Is it so freeking important that we all can't talk about it? Or could we get common stuff? I guess we are not all on at the same time. Hopefully, we will be, one day.
