Hi all I am new here. Aome of you might have heard of me i am pitsanddobes. My name here is dobesandpits because I joined last week with my pitsanddobes name but never got a confirmation email lol. So here I am. Just to be upfront my spelling is horrible and I cannot see very well so I make a lot of typo's. Looking forword to getting to know you (some of you I already know) and sharing info and stories about our beautiful little babies.

Welcome. I used to be a TP member too(paigebeverly). Hope you enjoy it here. The good thing about this site is that you can type in really large print. But other than that I type bad. I usually have to go over my post a few times before submiting it. I am just 22 and my eyes are failing me.

I know there are members here that are members on TP and I am letting you all know now that I am not about to tolerate the same treatment I have been recieving from some over there. I am not here to argue or fight in fact I would love a little peace and quiet for a change. I just want to tlk about pets and exchange info and stories. If thats ok?

I post in both places and have yet to see any of the same BS here. Granted, we're a smaller group, but for the most part we respect that others have different opinions.
That being said, there's no one here that will hesitate to give an opinion...that freedom is why many of us are here. The difference is, no one will try to shove their opinion down your throat or make you feel like an idiot or criminal for not agreeing.
dobesandpits, just from what I have heard I know you will find that at this site you won't even come close to the same treatment you rec'd elsewhere. I agree with you - I also come to forums for relaxation and enjoyment and to be able to talk about my furcrew & hear about everyone else's. Plus off-topic is welcome too! Glad to have you with us!
Moencat is right. If someone here disagrees with you, she'll probably say so. However, we value difference of opinion because such differences give us all a chance to learn. So, instead of calling you "stupid" or telling you to shut up, if a member disagrees with you, she will treat you with respect and actually listen to what you have to say. In short, we "debate," but we don't "fight."

awesome. I am sure some of you are familiar with some of the heatd debates I have been in in the recent past and it is upsetting when someone talks down to you because you think differently then they do. I am glad to know I will not be made to feel as if my opinion is worthless or unwelcome because it might be different then someone elses.

Dobes, I'm glad to see you here. I've read your posts at TP and think you'll have alot of valuable info to post here. You're pretty knowledgable about dogs and we always have questions...lol
