I just got off the phone with a lady from a mobile spay and neuter clinic. I have been calling around to see what my options are with getting Piper neutered. They are going to bring the clinic to Piper so that I don't have to try and get him to the clinic! This is such great news for us because I have been really worried about not being able to get him neutered. While they are here, Ivan will lose his 'terribleness' (lol) as well. They are scheduled to come out the first week of April.
We decided against sending Piper away to a behavioralist right now. We decided to continue working with him and simply give it more time. We are going to work with him for a year (which will be up in November) and then decide where we want to go from there.
I didn't know that S&N clinics would come to your house, but I think this woman is truly compassionate in what she does and wants the best for every animal. It was a pleasure talking to her tonight. It's really nice to talk to people who truly care about animals and is willing to go out of their way to help them. It was a very pleasant ending to a horrible day.
