Kiba has just turned 8 months old the 12th of March. I have noticed that she has some wiry hairs that are a little thicker than her regular fur that have popped up all of the sudden. Like if you look at the side they are longer than the other fur and just feel different. Will her entire coat be like this and I'll loose the soft little puppy fur?
Yes, sorry to say her hair will get coarser but she will still have some soft hair. The soft puppy coat will shed out and the coarser hair will grow in. It depends on the dog. Sometimes they keep more soft and less coarse and sometimes they loose all the soft.
