When me and Brad got home from dinner tonight we went in the backyard to put the grill cover back on the grill. Well, sitting on top of it was half of a kitty. I looked all over the yard for the other half but didn't find it. I am pretty sure Oscar didn't eat it but I am just wondering how it died and what killed it. It was very small. Kind of freaks me out too. I do know that the kitty died somewhere else because there was no blood anywhere I could see. I guess I was just shocked to find that in my yard.
Could it have fallen from a hawk or owl flying over? I know when I lived up north we would find things like that and it would be from Hawls and Owls flying over after catching it.
Ohhhhh how awful! It was probably as everyone else said a hawk or an owl that just happened to drop it. Ugh! Sorry you had to experience that.

Yuck, I had a openchested pigeon on my doormat one day, my mind said my friends are sending a message? Month later, I noticed dove feathers on the hood of my car. Then, I noticed they were still floating down...I looked up, and a Peregrine falcon was enjoying it's meal in the oak tree over the car. I have found other similiar things since. Predators do not necessarily respect you when looking for a picnic table.
