Since all members must be approved before joining (for the time being) I can see who is requesting to join before I allow them in. Just the way it needs to be right now. Anyway, Huronbreeze signed up here and I activated his/her membership. I don't know that much about him/her but I can say that I believe they signed up with the best of intentions. He/she seems very fair and un-biased and I'd like for us to welcome him/her when and if they post here. I think Huronbreeze would be a valuable asset to this forum.
Normally I wouldn't post this, but with all that has happened, I wanted you to know that I think this in a TP member that is here for the right reasons and I wanted to make sure he/she was welcomed if they post. We are all members of other forums and I believe that Huronbreeze is no different than us in that sense. We all like variety.
Huronbreeze - if you read this......Welcome to our board. Please feel free to email me or PM myself or protodog if you have any questions.
Welcome! Huronbreeze glad to see that you have joined.
I am a member of several pet forums which I frequent quite often and this one is turning into a very nice forum I think you will enjoy it here.

I welcome you, Huron. I know I might have been suspicious last nigt in chat, but you have to understand what has been going on. As I told you in chat last night, we do not want you to have to choose one forum over the other. You are welcome here no matter what chat or how many chats you are a member of. I enjoyed visiting with you and am sorry I had to leave early. Hope to see you soon.

Can some one tell me...i feel like the only one who doesnt get it...any way...thanks again./..
Lol...sorry about the he/she thing. I didn't know which one you were!...lol
The history of the BUMP:
Back in 1492, long before television......no.....really........lol......When we post on threads, they get sent to the top of the page. Thats the most obvious indication that they have got new posts, and it keeps the active ones at teh top of the board. The threads that have not been posted on recently will continue to be pushed to the bottom of the page......until someone posts on it which makes it go back to the top.
Ina case where someone wants a post at the top of the page, where others can see it, but don't really have anything to add to it - they just say BUMP. Becuase you are really just bumping it back to the top of the page. Hope that helps.
Ansy...Thank God...a definition I can understand...i was begining to feel a few cents short of a dollar...I can see the importance of the bump...thanks for the explanations...Both of you...
