How can there be three guest online ,when everyone has to log in to read post?

Ansy told me this one... when people come to the page to sign in, but do not sign in, it shows as a guest...at least that was my understanding

It shows them as a guest just because they have accessed the site but they can't read anything.

Because when they are sitting there looking at the page that says "This is a private forum" it still shows them as a guest.....they cant see anything but that message though.
