 I really don't know how I will be received here, but I hope well enough. I'm really sorry to see the goings on in both forums as of late, but hope things will smooth out. Most of the people know me here from TP. I am not here to spy, and I haven't been involved in any of the goings on as of late. I'm encouraged by the willingness? of members of both sides to try to end the war of words. I was a little dismayed at the same time to see the leaders? of both forums negotiating. Ansy, you are the owner and admin of this board, and you have the right to do as you see fit. ADMIN at TP is the owner of that board, and whoever else was involved from TP took it upon themselves to speak for all of us. I didn't feel I needed that kind of help. (It is a public forum)


Don't get me wrong. I like TP and the people on it for the most part. I also like the moderators, and don't envy their job what-so-ever, so I am not dissing them. Their are people on this forum that I liked when they were on TP also. P&D had a slight run in with me over a topic I posted and wasn't the original author of (didn't make that clear), but other than that, we've never had harsh words that I can remember. I think we agree to disagree and that's that.


I'm not going to say "Can't we all just get along". No we can't, because of the dynamics a public forum presents. But we hopefully can learn to tolerate each other, and to remember that what is typed is not always what is meant.


If the majority here do not want me to participate on your forum, please let me know and I'll stop. Otherwise, I would be happy to be a member and try to contribute something worthwhile.

Glad to see you over here. I too post in both places and have had no problems. I don't think you have to worry about anyone here. We all get along just fine. We can talk about almost anything which I'm glad of. So I officially say:

ltigto, yes those are my 2 standards.  Farley (black) will be 6 in April and Chloe (cream) just turned 4 in Jan.   Farley is my goofball & Chloe is the princess of the house!  They are great companions & I think they love me as much as I love them!

 Thanks for the welcome Shadow and Jawlaw. Denise, I have to admit, I much prefer our Standards to our Toys. My avatar is of our brown dork "Kisses". She's the light of my life (as far as the dogs are concerned). I love them all, but she is special!

Kisses is gorgeous!  I just love the personalities of the standards.  If I didn't work full-time I'd probably have a houseful of standards - at least one of each color!

I missed you since I was for telling the mods they were not following the rules. Here you can talk about what you want. Avatars and smilies are fun, too.
I like to decorate things. I have been here and on Lab-retriever.net forum, and Petloversforum.org all 3 are open forums to any topic. Check out the rules on this forum, Ansy did her usual thorough job, it is getting very fun, the forum is not oppressive and gets bigger every week. The Lab forum has typically 50 people on each morning upwards to 100+. I believe this one will do as well. Heck, they have the best smilies of the three
