New Puppy!

My roomate and I went to go get some coffee yesterday and came home with a new puppy! He is a 14 week black lab named Jack. He is super cute and he can sit and lay down already! My roomate got lucky, this little guys parents are bred for bomb dectecting and guide dogs, he comes from a really great line of dogs. They are getting this puppy for free! Well the guy wants the Vet bills that he has paid, but thats it!

I'll try and get some pics up soon!

Oh I also wanted to ask something. Puppies that young eat 3 times a day right? The guy at the food store said 2 times a day is fine. He isnt skinny at all, perfect weight. So how many times should he eat?

Two or three times a day is fine for a large breed puppy.

Well I have 3....he is number 4, but he is my roomates, not mine. Once he is old enough and had his shots I will take him to the park with my girls when his mom is working. The great thing is, is that this puppy will always have someone or somedog to play with. If she is working, her boyfriend or I can watch him, and if we are busy, her mom will watch him, and if for some reason we are all busy, the guy that she got him from will gladly babysit anytime!

They even started training him from the second they got him. Hes a good boy, but i did warn them how hyper Lab puppies can be. My friend is actully gonna quit her job to spend more time with him.
