Just thought I would share pics of my sisters motorcycle. Its not a Harley but looks and sound like one. She has cobra pipes on it that will set off any car alarm. The pic isn't very good because it was raining and she wouldn't bring it out of storage. It nothing special really but she is saving for a Harley now that she is making more money.
There is something about bikers that I just love. Like Billy Lane the copper builder, he is so hot. Every year there is a big party at one of the lakes called Reeses Revenge and thousands of bikers turn up to it. It is a weekend party and trust me they know how to party.
That is a beautiful bike!!!! My father and several other family members recently all bought Harley's and some other bikes. They just love riding them. I am too scared to get on a bike, so I let that be their play thing. My oldest son races dirtbikes and it nearly gives me a heart attack! I love looking at motorcycles. They really are creative pieces of machinery. That blue on her bike is just the most awesome color! Now, I know shes's got a tattoo, right?...lol
Yeah she has a tattoo. She has a tribal arm band onher right arm and one on her boob. She thinks she is such a bad a$$. Her girlfriends also has a bike. Here is hers. They both crack me up. I love to go riding with them. But hopefully one of these days I will learn to drive one and get my own.
This is Robins girlfriends bike. Nothing fancy. This was the beginner bike.
How about this one. This is my father in laws chopper he built himself. It is going to paint very soon. Not sure on the color yet. My hubby is considering building a chopper too.
Oasis, your father-n-laws bike is awesome. There are a few people around here that have choppers and they are very pretty. I know one I see all the time is that candy apple green with purple flames, and there is a purple and orange one that is a eye catcher.
Isis, my sister also has a crotchrocket too. I have just always thought those were a bit dangerous. But it can go circles around the Harleys. She never rides it because she likes the bigger bike. And to think the one she never rides is a 2005 and the one in the first pic is a 2002.
My father in law talked about painting it copper with ghost flames but he's not sure. I think it would look good silver cuz the natural metal it is now looks awesome. It is cool huh? He used to race Harley's when he was younger and is an ex biker but i never knew he could build one...hehe. Think we'll beg him to help my hubby build his
Here is one of the many bike my hubby painted...he has been custom painting bike for over 20 years....We use to have a Harley Heritage Softail, but we sold it to buy the Sign shop. I just thought I'd brag a little...Paint Job
My husabnd has as stinkin rice birner. I was embabrrassed to ride with him at first. Did not want my biker friedns to see me on one. LOL. Here is a little place in Los Angeles where many bikers go on the weekend. If she ever rides thru here, tell her to check out Walkers Cafe. On a nice day there are lots of them. I took this picture last summer, my hubb is in it with long hair to the left on the sidewalk. Not a biker either. It was a pretty calm day, most riders had left already. But gosh darn it all, lordy lord before I met my hubby I had a stinkin blast at this place.
I don't think my sister will ever be in the L.A. area. That is so distance from here. Last night I watched the bike show on discovery. They were building a chopper in the memory of Indian Larry. It was sad. I think I can cry over anything.
There is a Norton club that meets where I work every month. Harley riders come there whenever they are in town. Me, I prefer cars, they generally do not shoot out from under you and go down the road on their own, like the last MC that I rode. I used to zip around on a minibike in the desert when I was a kid, noisy though, and always breaking down...
