Well, this will show you how out of the loop I am!!! All that talk on TP about the other place...I thought it was another site mentioned in the past. I had no idea this was here. I have spent some time reading over many of the posts, unfortunately, many of them are over the recent situation that has both sides roaring I see....but I could care less about that.
Should I be welcomed here, I would like to participate in the website. I was not happy with the changes at TP when the new mods took over. I personally have nothing against them at all nor any of the members, I just didn't like the rules I guess. I also felt strongly about certain people being banned though in the beginning, perhaps I may have been one to jump on the bandwagon (kind of), but not because of an individual, only because there was so much bickering.....but now I see that tends to happen no matter what....everyone is entitled to their opinions...right?....
I see things here are more open and I enjoy the fact there is more freedom for things off topic. OH, by the way, I am MyPoundPuggle, I am not trying to disguise myself at all. I just took some flack over the "puggle" debate and would like to steer clear of that from now on. I love my dog and personally don't care how she got on this earth. I got her from the pound and I love her....end of story.
I hope I am welcome here....I see alot of familiar names in the list, some I didn't get to know well and others I have missed. Thanks for reading....
Yup. You are welcome. Actually, all are welcome. We can talk about whatever we want here, it is not nasty...Oh, modify the topics to a level acceptable to parents...most here have kids. If anyone in the past disliked your dog, because of it's breeding, that was wrong. I am sorry. I hope you have some neat things to talk about. I am all ears....
MPP, Welcome to The Furum! We are pleased to have you here! Have you checked out the PROJECT: Saved Lives link yet? I'd love to include your pup in that since she came from the pound!
I think alot are like you and didn't know this particular board exists....lol.
Sure you can add her, I haven't checked it out yet, still trying to find my way around. Rocky is also from the same pound. He is a sweety...all's he wants out of life is a hug! lol
Welcome, MPP!! I've missed seeing you and those cute lil furry kids of yours!! Hope you enjoy it here. There's never been any bickering at all about where a dog came from and nobody's given me any grief, even though I know some know I have a dog from a puppymill. So, you should be safe here from ppl ragging on you about your lil cutie!!
You are sooooo welcome to be here. This place is awesome! I have to say, your doggies are adorable and i LOVE your avatar! The puggle is the cutest thing. What kind of dog is Rocky (bigger one right)?
Welcome! Your pups are sooooo cute!!!! I love the leapard collar btw. I feel you on the whole puggle issue--I have two labradoodles so I know the drama it can cause. But like you I could care less how they got here I am just so glad they are in my life :)
Well, according to the vet Rocky is a Boxer/St. Bernard mix. When we got him from the pound he weighed about 76 pounds....he needs weighed again, but he has gained so much muscle mass and he is strong as an ox. He has a bad hip, was hit by a car when a pup and the jerk that had him never had him looked at. The vet says he developed a new socket on his own and he limps occasionally, but it doesn't stop him....he runs like a mad man and pulls Molly all over the place when they play together. It is usually late in the day after a lot of playing that it gets stiff on him. He'll hold it up and walk on three legs. He is a complete luv bug. He lives for a kind voice and hugs. Molly on the other hand is a terror and I spoil her rotten!!!! (They are both spoiled....lol)
Here are there dogster pages...haven't updated them in quite awhile.....
Hello Pound Puggle...Im glad you found this site....I have posted on tp a while ago about you...and even posted i was glad to see you back several weeks ago...I have stood up for puggles in the past but I have not seen the recient puggle remarks you stated...I dont like it...I think the ones you have are so well loved and spoiled that what is the issue...I hope you dont take any puggle bashing as personal...I remember how you got your presious Molly...and I appreciate the fact that YOU did save a life from the pound...but even it you didnt and sought out puggle breeders...I have no issue with you about that...I know you love your fur friends and that is what counts...Best wishes and welcome...
The negative stuff I was talking about was WAY back on TP...when I first signed up....it wasn't anything bad by any means, but from that point on any time a puggle was mentioned it seemed to be negative. And not about Molly, just about the whole breeding thing.
As far as her being the so called "Puggle" I had never even heard of that term until the night we brought her home from the pound, our neighbors were out and they have a pug, he is the one that called her a puggle....I know some just want them referred to as mixes, but I love the puggle term...I can say silly things like "I snuggle with my puggle..." Yes, I am goofy, I know.
I had to take Rocky back to the pound so these two could interact before I was aloud to bring her home. She was a real terror there....biting all the dogs in B**** and butts. My fiance didn't want her at all....said she was too mean....but she wasn't here and hour and everybody in the house fell in love with her. Her and Rocky are absolutely best buddies....I love seeing them curl up with each other....they even lay in the back yard in the sun together...all snuggled up...I know our neighbors have to think they are too cute! (Not bragging at all....it is just cute to watch them...)
I put their stories on their dogster pages if you ever have extra time to read them...but now I have pretty much told the story!! lol
