Update on puppy

Well first I want to thank everyone for the warm thoughts and prayers. My b/f, Beeper, the new pup, and I really appreciated it. Now to the pup.... well the murmur is still there. The vet said it was less than what it was last week. He rated it between a 1 and a 2. He told her a 1 is a murmur that can not be heard. He also stated again that the murmur is not the type that means there is a hole in the heart. So its decision time ..... the breeder has given us a few options and been extremely helpful through all of this. My b/f and I are going to talk it over tonight and weight out each option and decide which one is best for us and the puppy. Thanks again everyone for everything and I'll let you all know what we decide!!!

Itgto- You said one of your pups had a murmur correct? well I was wondering if what the vet was true about a 1 or 2 rating is not bad and that a 1 is a murmur that cannot be heard. Thanks!!

Well I hope all works out for the best. Let us know what you decide. I know it is a tough decision.

I think its good news that the murmur is less than it was last week, right?  Doesn't that mean its getting better?  I hate that you have to make this decision but I know in the end you'll make the right one.

Have you asked ltlgto of his experience with a murmur dog? It would be good to get advice from someone thats been there.

well we decided.... we leave Saturday morning to make the 6 hr drive to get him! I am so excited yet scared at the sametime. I hope that this is the right choice but only time will tell. The breeder is giving him to us at half price and is will to take him back and refund our money if our vet has a different oppinion on him. I only have 2 days to prepare for his arrival we have been putting off buying things and puppy proofing our house because we didnt want to jinx the situation. Now all I need is a list of what is needed for a puppy! Any advice would be appreciated! ;) We have the crate. we bought 2 of them today from the humane society because we decided that Beeper deserved a new crate also. But whatelse?!?!
