Here is our area we seem to be the irresponsable pet owner capital of the state! Today is Sunday and Animal controll has two oh call officers on duty. I had Rusty out alone in the front yard and I hear barking. So I go to the window and these dogs was in my drive way. I let rusty in and opened the gate and let them in to contain them. Now if they were both lil bitty dogs I could just crate them till the morning but one is huge. I don't have a crate big enough for this dog. They have collars but no tags so I cannot call the owners. Animal controll says for me to keep them till morning or turn them loose again. I don't feel comfortabe with turning them loose the only alternitive is to chain them out back. Tell me what you guys thing I should do?
A) Turn them loose
B) Chain them and wait till the morning

ugh I swear I am like a dog magnet! Why me why me lol. My hubby says the large dog looks familiar and get this he is well trained. He jumped up and licked me lol and I said NO! Sit! Wow he did. I said Stay and he did. Cool! Hubby went down the street to the lady on the next block he thinks thats where they live. I sure hope so. I took a picture and will post it in a few minutes.

I also seem to be a dog magnet. I had a brindle pit come up to me today while I was mowing and just sit there and watch me. He had a collar on, but as soon as I was about to look at it his owner came driving up looking for him. Seems like he snuck out the front door. Hope you have luck finding the owners.
I get strays at my house all the time. All of us in our neighborhood think people just drop them off because we are way out in the boonies but the forget we have preditors out here
WE FOUND THEIR MOM AND DAD! lol the little boogers are escape artists. The live 7 houses down. LOL now I know where to take them if they escape again.

Ya know, I found 2 dogs running happy down a city street that I was on...I thought the one looked like a purebred Lab, so I pulled over, and in my commanding voice said "come here, get in", both of those ding dongs jumped in my back seat. I was a bit worried at 1st, but after several calls, the owner came home from work. They were so happy I retrieved the brats so close to home. I think I got $10. for my time. At work I am lucky to make that. On my day off, I got paid for a good deed...
