I was in tears tonight laughing at Rocky and Molly. Poor Rock, he is so clueless sometimes. I got out the laser pointer and had Molly running around like a mad dog. As if that wasn't funny enough. I would put it on Rock's behind and she would attack it. She doesn't bite at it but runs her snout into it! Rock just kept looking at her like "What in the **** are you doing?????"
She had us all cracking up. If you haven't tried one of things these...try it! Although, your dog may be like Rock and look at it as if to say "I am not wasting my energy for THAT!" lol Molly on the other hand will go for quite awhile....you can make them do some pretty silly stuff! lol
My pup, Piper goes nuts for the hose. We turn on the sprayer and she bites at it and bounces through it....lol. We even went out and bought a plastic kiddy pool and she plays in it all the time. We also made a dig pit and all the dogs have a blast digging in it. Keeps them from digging in my yard!
MPP...sounds like you had a terrific night..I like days like that..takes all the frustration off of a day...Enjoy your sweet pets...They sound adorable..
And Oasis...Maybe I should have a dig pit for my monsters...They dig all over..and i dont have the grass seeded yet..so i dont know what will happen later in the season..We did landscaping last summer late and have a beautiful yard of dirt now..and when it rains..it is the best mudd money can buy...One of my shepherds love the hose..he jumps and tried to catch the glistening water..such a nut..
Today, I was working on our pond in the back yard. I took a break and noticed that milo wasn't around the other dogs and I. I look around and i see his rear end behind the big trash can we have along the house, but not the front of him. He was doing something in the dig pit (he is NOT a digger and never has in 9 years). All i could see was his back end doing a....well.......naughty movement....lol Like he was going to town! I thought "wtf?" I peered around the trash can and saw he was scooting dirt around with his nose. He would scoot dirt going upwards and when he stopped out in front of him, he would pat the dirt with his nose....lol After he'd scoot and pat a few times, he'd lightly tap it with his paw then start again. It took me a few minutes to realize he was hiding his bone!!! LOL He hates to share (hence the nic name 'grumpy gus')
