I talked to animal controll today. I called yesterday but the man that came out never called back. so I called again today. He claims someon called about my "rotts" being out loose! Umm I don't have rotts I have Dobermans. He says, "whatever they were loose." I said "no they were not they were not even here" So he tries to argue with me that he talked to my neighbors and they confirmed that my dogs were loose. "Nice try but the dogs were not here," is what I said. So he tells me he is going to issue me a citation. I said this was a false report and I want to know who made the report. He tells me that he can't tell me that.  LIE! Anyway I said false reporting is a crime and he tells me he knows that. So I tell him i want to pursue the matter. he tells me to go to the sherrif and file a harassment complaint. I tell him i can't do that without a name. He says he knows that and laughs.

Ok now I am ticked off. I ask for the supervisor and get the man who has sat in my dining room and met my dogs. The supervisor says he is sorry for the way I was spoken to and that it was in fact my neighbor who lost her dog for animal cruelty and she is trying to get back at me because I care about the animals and got involved. I told him I felt like I was being harrassed by not only the neighbor but the animal controll officers and that if this situation was not rectified immediatly I would have no other choice then to lodge a formal complaint. So he assures me that no one will be coming to bother me again and that he will let the dispatcher know any calls about me are to be directed to him and documented and that no officers are to be dispatched to my home unless I call for one. AND that I will not be issued a citation.
