I am surprised that you are upset that you didn't recieve a response to your last post on the new mods one. That particular person, if i am guessing right, posts a lot here and so gets lost. I know i do and have a hard time keeping up with what i responded to. If you really wanted your quetion asked, a PM would have been a good way to get your answer. Also, i believe there was a missunderstanding on that persons part and i remember a few of us eplaining it to them in chat the other day. As for your posts being edited, i can somewhat see where you are upset. Your best bet would have been to seek an explination from the mod instead of just high tailing it outta here. There may have been mistakes made, afterall, we are only human. I'm sorry you fell we are unfit company. I would like you to stay but it IS your choice. As for my response on the men's BBQ post, in case you took offense, i was just poking fun. It is your choice but for the most part we are a fun bunch of pet owners. Hope you decide to stick around awhile.

Im very disappionted at the way you were treated here. Personally, I feel that your posts should have not been edited. I did not find them offensive, no cussing whatsoever, just some cowboy humor. Sorry for inviting you here and have this happen, I didnt know it was like this.

Oh....cowboy up!!!! I am a bit surprised too. You and the watcher kind of came her together and gave the impression of "tough" guys that could hold their own. Why you backing down?

Watcher, why apologize. It is a forum....people say what they want. You guys took a bashin' from Peter and didn't run.

As far as being edited, I have to be honest. I have a weight problem and find no humor in bashing fat people, wasn't worth mentioning at the time, but sometimes people take offense to that sort of thing. I think it may have been Stormy to point out at another pic, that it may be offensive. I think you guys are mature enough to know when you are trying to get a rise outta people. Sure it was humor, but not to all. The fat guy, obviously he has issues, but I, too, didn't care for the pic. As far as the salvation army drum, I laughed, laughed hard. But honestly, in a pet forum you can expect kids and they learn too much from the net already. Just a thought.

Anyway, I wish you the best. I will be the first to admit that you and the Watcher showing up together and one of you playing the "big brother" (you know, I AM WATCHING YOU) role bothered me, but hey, I don't know you and it is your life.

As far as the fat guy pic, I must have missed that. I usually scan the posts, but don't wait for pics to load, unless it's like a thread about families or pets. I'll try to find wherever this pic is and take care of it.

TnT - I think it was bad timing for you and TW both, thats all. Alot has died down now. New changes are in the near future. I'd encourage all of you to stick around and see what is in store.

Thank you to the Watcher for your phone call this morning after my post to let me know what was being said. It is just more proof that there are too many that just don't get it. Special thanks to MollieMae01 for the words of encouragement in the PM she sent me. She gets it!

First of all let me say that "being tough" and "cowboying up" have nothing to do with it. I can write all the creative posts that I want but someone with a moderator password sitting behind a computer screen with their finger on the "button" (remember how they used to make comments about Reagan) is something that can't be overcome. I am not going to PM a moderator and beg for my posts to be reinstated, not happening!

Secondly let me say that I did battle with Peter on another forum and took him out, he however was not a moderator but another poster, therefore the playing field was level. This playing field is not level as any post about any subject can be removed simply because one of the moderator's doesn't understand what I am writing about, that my friends is uneven ground.

I really could care less if that certain poster answered my questions or not, it is not important and I could care less if I have to explain what I write several times, but the editing of posts that are harmless is a little over the top. The Watcher wants me to stay so I probably will but I do have to say that the editing has taken a little of the wind out of my sails.

And for the record....there is a WHOLE bunch I just don't get. I am just too simple minded and have way to much on my mind. I am a question asker. If you don't ask, you will never know. I tell myself that everyday. My mother's nick names for me...Loopy, Drifty, Airhead, Dingbat, etc....all in good humor, but, honestly, I suffer from Adult Add, doesn't make me stupid, my mind just races and sometimes it takes me longer than most to sort things out. So don't ever take me too seriously.

So...stick around. And geez, you are on a forum full of women. Surely you don't expect them to all agree or be on the same wave length at one time do ya?? lol

There are 2 moderators on this forum. Myself and protodog. I have never known proto to be anything other than fair. I - have made mistakes and bad judgement.

I don't know who you are referring to, but no problem can ever be discussed and resolved unless we all have the facts straight.

I admit you were treated with a leary eye when you joined, not your fault, but it's how we humans work - especially when you came in during a time of turmoil.

If the problem you have is with me, I want you to address exactly what it was that I did. I don't recall deleting any posts, but I have a feeble mind at times.

Many posters here enjoy you, so I hope you stay for their benefit, but staying here with unresolved feelings on how you are treated is never good. It will only explode into a huge conflict later on.

Yea, hes a cool guy!

As far as Troubled, He feels that every post that he made has been edited and he never once cussed or said anything that bad. In his last thread, a real mans bbq, it was done again, and wasnt bad. Protodog has done all the editing, from what I can tell. Proto is a little too conservative for our taste of humor. Nothing personal with any of you, we like you guys, just give us some room to post without all the censorship. Your making the cowboy feel that he is in jail or something. Troubled does not deserve the Scott Petterson treatment.

Ok, stupid question.....how many posts has T in T posted? They ALL have been edited? JMO but this was thrown WAY out of proportion. No, i saw nothing wrong with his comment in the BBQ thread. I agree it shouldn't have been edited but i doubt it's worth getting so upset. Oh well, move on. As for him saying he doesn't care who ignored him, why mention it then? Ask anyone here, i rarely get angry but this was a start. I like having you guys here. We need a little testosterone but i don't see where this was cause to get so angry. We are not perfect here, no forum is.
