I am glad her husband has finally confessed to the horrible deed.  To this day, I still do not understand his reasoning.  A college education or lack thereof is not the end of the world. It should not have been for Mrs. Hacking.

Please see Lori Hacking's dedication site. It is very simple and touching. I was more moved by this site than the one by Mrs. Terri Schiavo's parents. I don't know why but Lori's story really upset me. I guess him shooting her in the head while she slept,  I mean her beloved betrothed her husband.  Very cruel.

Lori was an animal lover. Her cat (although I have issues with cats) was indeed beautiful and deeply attached to her.
