I haven't been on much this weekend. We painted the living room yesterday. And the trim took forever. But its almost done. Just a few more touch ups. I wish we would have gone a darker brown though. And we also got out and pooped scooped and mowed. And I got some house cleaning done. But over all we have had a pretty busy weekend. I can't wit until next weekend. My birthday is next Thursday so I will have a week/weekend of people taken me out to dinner.
With the weather getting so nice, I've been spending more time outside and not on the computer so much. Which has hubby confused. I just love to throw him off from time to time.. I've also finally got all the tax stuff done, and have picked up a few of my past projects that I haven't gotten done. I have a hummingbird cross stitch that I've been working on, on and off, for 2 years. I want to get it done before Mother's Day. I also have 3 crocheting things going....I start them...and put them in the bag and forget to go back to them. I swear I have A.D.D.. Any way, as the summer gets closer...I'm sure...some people won't be online as much..
I think it's because it's a weekend. The days here have been beautiful, and I try to go out at least one weekend night. I imagine some of you without kids probably bat 3 for 3 on the going out. I still end up posting because I don't sleep.
I work on the weekends. I come on after midnight, 3am EST, no one's around. I make a post, and start a thread, then go make breakfast. I was up late watching a rerun of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now I'm going back to work.
We have nice weather too but i get breaks and come on here to see what's up and it's dead......lol I'm sure it's not busy at night either cuz everyone is worn out from the day.
With all the good weather it is hard to stay cooped up in the house and not go outside..I do both..lol..I too chochet Julie..what kinds of things do you crochet? I would live to do needle work..Im not that delecate..I bought a few projects..but I cant sew nice..so ill have to bribe some one to do my projects..I have a nonprofit that makes things and donates them to charities and agencies..I have crochets stuff like hats and mittens, blankets, afghans, toys.. And I can sew some too on the machine..So..let me know what you make too Julie..and any one else who is crafty...
LOL Huron. On certain days I feel like I am 60. There is no way I can have another kid because the one I have makes me feel old sometimes. My dads birthday is in september too, so is Kaitlyns. Kaitlyns is on the 22nd and my dads is on the 27th. And to think my dad is gonna be 55 and he has a 7 year old.
