Oh my goodness!  I haven't peeked in here in so long.  I was driving home from my son's (that's right, I finally had a baby boy) 18 month check-up today and this placed popped in my head and I thought I'd check in and see if it was even still here!

Things are going well for me.  I really hate to post all of my happy stuff while everyone here seems to be having such a hard time.  I guess we all have our ups and downs though right?  I know I've had my fair share of hard times. 

I have 4 kids now.  3 girls and a little boy who is the absolute highlight of my life.  I love all of my kids the same but everyone told me it would be different with a boy and it is.  Kaitlyn is 10, Gillian is 5, Sophia Rose is 2, and Jacob is 1.  Sophia Rose was born on Nov. 7 2006, and Jacob was born on Nov. 9, 2007.  Those were 2 long, dreary, hard years but they couldn't have turned out better.  I despise being pregnant with a passion.  I was miserable.  I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world right now though.

Last year we took a family vacation.  We had never done that before.  We took all 4 kids to Disney for 2 weeks.  Rough stuff!  Sophia was 18 months and Jacob was 6 months at the time.  It was a hard trip but it was, from the mouth of my 2 yr. old, lots and lots of fun. 

We just bought a house down the shore a little over a year ago.  Keeping up with 2 houses is proving to be rough but nice at the same time.  Our shore house is only an hour from our house so its nice to pack the kids up and head to the beach for a few days and have everything already there we need.  No packing recquired.
