Wow. I have the fear of heights, fear of death, fear of hospitals (been in too many my self....lol)fear of some spiders and fear of speaking in public although i'm told that i'm good at it. There's probebly more.

Here are mine:

Acrophobia- Fear of heights.
Aeroacrophobia- Fear of open high places. (i get real wobbly and cling to ppl when in this situation, like high open staircases)
Agoraphobia- Fear of open spaces or of being in crowded, public places like markets. Fear of leaving a safe place.(more of afraid of being lost)
Arachnephobia or Arachnophobia- Fear of spiders.
Automatonophobia- Fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues - anything that falsly represents a sentient being.(definitely a fear-Howdy Doody, )
Chaetophobia- Fear of hair. (lol, y'all know that ain't true, i'm a hairstylist, i just thought it was funny)
Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces.(more of a dislike)
Cleptophobia- Fear of stealing.(afraid of something accidentally falling in my bag or someone putting something in my bag and me not realizing it)
Climacophobia- Fear of stairs, climbing, or of falling downstairs.(i've fallen down plenty of stairs)
Coulrophobia- Fear of clowns.()
Cremnophobia- Fear of precipices.(hate looking down, when i'm on the edge)
Dementophobia- Fear of insanity.(never want to go insane)
Demonophobia or Daemonophobia- Fear of demons.
Doraphobia- Fear of fur or skins of animals.(hate seeing animal fur not on the animal)
Glossophobia- Fear of speaking in public or of trying to speak.(never have liked it, nor will I ever like it)
Katagelophobia- Fear of ridicule.(always afraid someone's talking about me)
Nyctohylophobia- Fear of dark wooded areas or of forests at night(shudders)
Ophthalmophobia- Fear of being stared at.(more of a hate than anything)
Pediophobia- Fear of dolls.( ugh!!
Teratophobia- Fear of bearing a deformed child or fear of monsters or deformed people.(definitely afraid of that, it's why i would rather adopt)

Wow, now that I think about it, I'm afraid of a lot of things!! I guess you could hock that up to my lack of life experience??

The only thing I am afraid of is home invasion. Like when I am asleep. Thats probably about it.

Agoraphobia- Fear of open spaces or of being in crowded, public places

Aichmophobia- Fear of needles or pointed objects. (which is ironic because i LOVE tattoos and peircings :O)
Anthropophobia- Fear of people or society.

Apeirophobia- Fear of infinity.(have you ever really thought about forever.... its freaky... )
Asymmetriphobia- Fear of asymmetrical things (ask sam on this, everything for me has to have symmetric)
Athazagoraphobia- Fear of being forgotton or ignored or forgetting.
Atychiphobia- Fear of failure.

Autophobia- Fear of being alone or of oneself.

Blennophobia- Fear of slime (added to that is all things slimy... worms, frogs. etc)
Catagelophobia- Fear of being ridiculed.

Chronophobia- Fear of time. (again ask sam on this... i am very anal when it comes to time)

Dermatopathophobia- Fear of skin disease.
Dishabiliophobia- Fear of undressing in front of someone

Iatrophobia- Fear of going to the doctor or of doctors. (can add dentists to that)

Merinthophobia- Fear of being bound or tied up(or of being helpless)
Nosemaphobia- Fear of becoming ill.

Ommatophobia- Fear of eyes. (its very hard for me to keep eye contact or look someone in the eye.. its so intrucive)

Ophthalmophobia- Fear of being stared at

Pnigophobia or Pnigerophobia- Fear of choking
Politicophobia- Fear or abnormal dislike of politicians

Xenoglossophobia- Fear of foreign languages.

Xenophobia- Fear of strangers or foreigners.

also fearful of mental illness(i deal with itto an extent....it can be scary), being stabbed, food poisoning. i am uncomfortable around people my age. I relate better to older people.

there are a few more, but those phobas listed above are the main ones that hit home for me.

Wow..I thought I had a lot of phobias...I dont like heights of any type..not even the first rung on the ladder...i will not go on an escalader at all..fell going down once.., I have fallen down stairs too..so im leary...so I guess that counts as a fear...I do what ever I can to avoid spiders and dont like bugs of any kind and fear bats flying in my hair...I fear the unknown in many sittuations and I hate any kind of scary or slasher movie..( hubby loves them, of corse) And I just hate any thing that causes you to jump unexpectedly...which is what makes most people watch those kinds of movies...Hummm...that I will not be able to protect my loved one is probably the one who makes me feel most helpless...I liked when some one mentioned fear of going insane..lol..I think if you were insane you would be in lala land and it might be alright...

I'm also scared of speaking in public, home invasion, drowning, and rape.

I also HATE the movie Pet Semetary...it is so scary. Every other scary movie I can handle. I can handle the whole movie except for that cat, Church. He was the creepiest thing. I hate the noice he makes when he hisses and growls.

I don't have very many, but these are mine:

Apiphobia (bees) - i'm allergic...not deadly, but still

Arachnephobia (spiders) - i'm getting better, but i still can't stand them

Aviophobic (flying) - i don't like heights....i prefer my feet to be on the ground thank you very much

Claustrophobia (small spaces) - as long as theres a window im ok...but i don't like feeling stuck, i panic

Coulrophobia (clowns) - not really scared...they're just weird....no normal person is happy as they are

Trypanophobia (needles) - needles are freaking scary....says me who has 3 piercings in each in (used to have 5) and who has my tongue pierced......but they still scare the heck outta me!

There's probably more, i just don't want to go through the entire list tonight!

I never knew so many peopl had phobias of clowns..that is very unusual to have so many clown phobis in one spot..lol..sorry..that amused me..I too fear drowning. as Heff posted reminded me. I wonder if they did any statistics on what is posted here to find some common thread...except animal loves i mean...very interesting..

Amathophobia- Fear of dust. ----WHAT THE CRAP??? ha! I would give somebody the hardest time if they were scared of DUST...ha!!

Androphobia- Fear of men. ----I do have a weird thing about men that stare you down, or dress like a gangsters and have dark clothes and those hooded sweatshirts...I'm not racist to the ones who aren't white but they all look scary so therefore, I don't like them at all!

Aulophobia- Fear of flutes. ---ha!!

Coprophobia- Fear of feces. --- even funnier!! I have 3 animals and a baby goddaughter, I can't be scared of feces!

eeeek, i too fear drowning, which is really weird considering i LOVE the water. I also fear dying in a fire.....heck, i fear dying/death
