I believe it is the real Rhonda. I believe she really did sign up here and then went back to TP and made it look as if she didn't so that she could try and make us look like fools.
Sorry, but every single time we've had someone use a troll name they have made a bad, nasty post. Rhonda didn't do that. She just posted something quick and simple and then trailed back to TP with an attempt to make it look like one of our members was starting trouble here now.

I have checked the IP of Rhondakbt against every single member of The Furum. It does not match the IP of any members here.
If this is not Rhonda (and I do believe it is) then it could be anyone and I cannot delete the name until they either break the rules or I have proof that it is not the real Rhondakbt.
One thing is for sure though.........it was not a member of The Furum. I also checked the IP against a list of over 300 proxy servers (the largest known on the net) and it did not match any of them. So to say that the person used a proxy server to register here is pretty much out the window.
I do not condone anyone acting to be someone else, in fact it is in the rules that if you do that, you will be banned. Thats why I checked all of this out, but I cannot find any connection between one of our members and that name.
The more I look, the more it appears to be the real Rhondakbt........or perhaps someone from TP who is not a member here is using her name. Either way, until I can prove it is not her.......the person has not borken any rules so the name stays.
Just to clarify, if Rhonda has professed that it is not her (on tp), wouldn't that be enough proof to ban the imposter? I'm sure that if it is not her, she wouldn't want people posting under her name, regardless if it is not one of us. Even if you don't believe her, personally, she did SAY it wasn't her, so that username should be banned. Just my opinion.
it happens all the time though. When I signed up at Talk City, someone already had the name "Ansy" but I didn't fret about it. There are millions of chatters on the net, so chances are, somehwere, someone is going to have the same name as you.
Unfortunately, because of all that has happened, Rhonda's word is not good enough to say it isn't her. maybe the person behind the name here will come forward and admit it, or maybe they will break some of the forum rules. That way, I can deal with it.
There is a name at TP......"nastyoldjawlaw" which is not the jawlaw that we know here. That name stays on their forum, so this one will stay as well. I'm not doing anything any different than they are. If you wish to point fingers, point them both ways. TP allows a member name to stay after the real member says it wasn't her. The Furum will do the same. If anything, I'm using their own rules by leaving the name active. That is how they handle it.
It's kind of like the old saying.......treat others as you wish to be treated. I'm only returning their favor, and the fact is - this person has not broken any rules here and we do not know that it really isn't Rhondakbt from TP.
Rhondakbt has always bad-mouthed this place, yet she somehow knew awful quickly that this 'person' was here. makes you wonder. Either it really is her or she spends way too much time enjoying The Furum.
i really dont believe it was rhonda myself. she was one of the nicer ones towards me when i was new on tp. and she always seemed straight up with people. which is a quality i admire. as i may be outspoken at times but at least i tell the real deal. no one should point the finger at anyone unless they have proof. i wouldnt like it if i was being accused of something i didnt do.
Also, on a different note.....I wanted to address this post made on the thread at TP.....

LOL Rhonda. I got banned because I did create an account there - I am on some other forums, pets, cars, etc. And I wanted to check out that one, well I PM'd her to ask if she could delete my account - very politely. And I would always go on there to see if I could still log in, and I could. So, I PM'd her again, asking very politely to please delete my account - I don't like to leave accounts open if I'm not going to be visiting. I never posted one single post on the forum. So, the last time I tried to log on to see if I still had an account there, it said "Your IP has been banned..." Which is all right with me. :) In any case, I know which forums I am happy with and as long as I can still get into those, I am very much satisfied.

This person is correct in the part of asking me to delete their account. The username was sassypup. However, sassy's email didn't seem so nice to me. It basically said that he/she came here looking for a pet forum and found anything but that. There was NO mention that he/she still wanted to stop by and 'read'. The email from this person in every way made me feel they wanted nothing more to do with The Furum. It was somewhat polite, but sarcastically to the point. If they were so unhappy here, then banning their name shouldn't have been a problem.
According to the post above, it sounds like a case of bad remorse. They signed up here (they even emailed me when they had problems signing in because they wanted to participate here) and then, for whatever reason, decided they did not want to be a member and jus t'read'.
My question is this - Didn't you read before you signed up? How could joining this forum all of a sudden make things different on what type of material is posted here? You knew what was on this forum before you ever signed up - so why did you sign up in the first place?
Your account will be swept out on the next cleaning of 'unused accounts', however, your IP will remaine on the banned list. You made it clear that you wanted nothing to do with this forum, so I'm just helping you keep your promise.
Next time, make sure you post the whole story so I don't have to do your work for you.
Just wanted to clear that up. People who lie on me will always be called out in the open. it's the one guarantee I promise everyone. Disagree with me - fine. hate me - fine. But you won't lie on me. Making your email out to be so 'polite' was not the case.
The fact is, you never wanted to join in the first place. You signed up when I had the forum locked except to the members here. You had to sign up in order to read it. Then, when the lock was removed, you wanted to be a smart-a** and thats why you emailed me with the email that you did. You wanted the privelage of reading the forum without being a member here and now you're just miffed because you can't access the site. I'm sure this message will get back to you - thats why I'm putting it here.

If you're not going to be visiting then it shouldn't matter to you if you can't access the site......right? In fact, I know everytime you have tried to access this site. Thats one of the rewarding features of this forum. I can tell how many times a banned member tries to come here. Acey has been blocked 9 times already. You and GinaH have been blocked as well. I know. I check these things. You said you didn't want to be here, many times, so stop coming already. I don't know who you are, but I see right through what you are doing. I put a stop to it, and you didn't like it. Thats life. If you wanted to keep visiting, then approaching me with the fact that this forum was 'less' than adequate and 'not what you felt a pet forum should be' was not the way to do it.
If you want to read it, learn how to use a proxy. Plain and simple. An elementary student could do that.
