We got another kitty today, look at her pics!

My mom really wanted another kitty so we went to the same humane society where we got Sophie. Mom laid around yesterday and cried over kitty so she will help her through it. Her name is Phaedra (Fay -Dra) it means "glowing, bright" Mom didn't know the meaning but loved the name anyway. Here's her pics...

Ya know. I'd love to look at her pics but for some reason I can never view dogster or catser on this comp. I always have to use my other one. Drives me nuts. I bet shes a beauty!!

i almost missed it too. you have to go where it shows other family members and clck on her picture. it is amazing how much she looks like miss kitty. maybe there was a reason that you went to the shelter when you did. i think miss kitty didnt want you to be alone. you will never forget the kitty you lost but there is always room to love another also ! i am very happy for you

Heff...congrats on the putty tat...She looks sweet...I love the name..I think names that have a great meaning are very cool...where did you get the name from...is it a different language? Let me know can you...Im curious...thanks so much...

  I feel so bad for Miss Kitty!!  I felt a big emotional pull on my heartstrings when you posted a question about PTS a pet and not being there and I think You called me a thick headed !%$#  But I just wanted to say RIP and I hope your doing well Miss Kitty!!!  And painfree now!!   And I know Heff LOVED you SO much!  SHE LOOKS ALOT LIKE MY PET SHOP KITTY-Kiwi!  Its so sad and makes me thankful my ptshop kitties havent had any probs!!  My Pug is another story but I got her from an awful personal breeder!!!   Want to say though- Sorry If I caused you any pain Heff and I was gone a while, How did it go?  I hope it was ok- and I think its AWESOME you got another kitty-even though I didnt see her yet!  I will look again at her pics though!!!  Good Luck- and I know you will love your new kitty tooo!  Your babies are lucky to have a loving caing owner like you!!   Your love comes through your posts!

Phaedra is a greek name. Mom has a greek book of some sort and she really liked it, and wanted to name Sophie that. It means "Glowing, bright" It fits her well. She's very clingy too, she likes to sleep next to ya, and be held. Very rotten kitty already.

Well, Kitty died Saturday morning. We didn't have to put her to sleep. If someone doesn't want to be with them when they die, it's not wrong. There is no right way with euthanasia. I'm sure it offended some peple when you said they should be there and it's wrong to leave them. Mom might not have went in if she was euthanized but that doesn't mean she didn't love her. She worshipped that cat and she gave her alot of love over the years.


Mom went downstairs that morning and told her it was okay to go, she came up and called me to call the vet about pain meds and then went back down and she was gone. I guess she waited for her to leave the room. :/
