Here is a pic of my T-Bone. I'm not great with pictures so it looks a little blurry. I'll post more when I get them loaded up. Does anyone else here have KBT's?
Yes, T-Bone is a show dog. We are very active in the show ring. His coat is just beautiful. He has never eaten commercial food. We make our own foods (raw) and give him alkaline water. It has been the best combination of feeding we have ever used and will continue to use it on all animals we have in the future.
T-Bone is 3 years old and never had to see a vet other than for regular check-ups. We have been very fortunate with this dog. He is our baby!
From the link you have provided, I don't see that anyone has stolen my pic. I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. The name in the link you mentioned is the registered name of T-Bone. He is of Aran bloodline. Here is a link to his background and how the Aran bloodline came to be.
I never worry about people stealing pics. Photos are "for the taking" on the internet. I wouldn't care if someone stole a photo. It isn't going to do them any good without the dog.
If you have any other questions about KBT's, I'll be happy to answer. They are wonderful dogs!
That dog in the pic is a female and that it had two litters one in 1993 and 1 in 1996. the dog is probablynot alive anymore.
""From litter B, we kept a ****, ARAN BAILEBRIGIN. Brigin had two litters (D in '93 and E in '96). 6 puppies became Ch.Storm & Brigin were Multi Ch. Storm became also ENGLISH Champion and Brigin, EUROPEAN Champion.""
Shadow, that would not be weird in the show world. My girl Megan's granddaddie lived most of his breeding life on lease in Japan[making his a rare bloodline in this country]. Those show folks don't always live with the dog that they own when it goes to another country to take titles, or to be used for breeding. They trade dogs with each other and the titles[competition] can continue in different areas, or entirely different countries. A lot more goes into it than just having a pet. I understand that just a local Championship costs about $10,000. to acquire in time and entry fees, etc...Professional handlers in suits often replace the owner in the show ring. If you look at the pedigree you will see that Aran is the kennel name. My kennel name is Solid Image, all my dogs' names begin with Solid Image. See http://www.solidimagelabs.com
Im confused. If Rhonda stated that she is not a member of this forum, why is this allowed to continue? Doesn't seem too ethical to me.
Edit: oh, now I see on the other thread, she says she is someone else. Sounds very suspicious to me. Why then would she have originally signed on with "here I am" , like it or not, or something to that effect. (don't quote me). It was originally meant to look like it was Rhonda from tp, and the name being the same is too much of a coincidence.
Ok......wow......I was almost afraid to open this thread...lol
Rhonda, I did assume that you were someone from another forum. That person happens to have the same name as you and has always bad-mouthed The Furum. The 'other' Rhondakbt posted on the forum she visits that it was one of us using her name to make trouble. It is a long story and I won't bore you with it.
I am so glad now that I didn't ban you or delete your account as some people thought I should. I would never want to ban in innocent member. I try to give the benefit of the doubt. I offer my apologies to you in assuming you were the other person.
You seem very educated in dogs and it would really be nice to have an active member here who knows about shows. T-Bone is just beautiful, but I have to ask why you refer to her as 'he'?. My husband refers to our male cat as a 'she' all the time. It's out of habit because we have always had female cats, so I don't find it that odd.....but still wanted to ask.
I welcome you to The Furum and look forward to your posts. I am not familiar with the KBT at all and would love to learn more.
i was considering showing my male frenchie. they have two akc shows coming here in june . but after checking into it. it seems like alot of time and expense. i guess it is good for kennels , but alot for the average joe.i will probably take my two to the show and meet some breeders and hopefully a few judges so i can learn a little more about the breed from people that know about them.and maybe get an opinion on my two.i do know that when people hire a handler the dog goes and actually lives with the handler and there is some american champion french bulldogs that went to live in russia to get the international championships.my males grandfather is an inter-champion. he is from twin lakes kennel here in the states.alot of champion show dogs live all over the country even though the owners live here. even if someone offered to show my dog for free i would not let him go off to live anywhere else, but show people do it all the time.
It is soooo bizarre that our new Ronda has the same Akbt after her name too. What does the akbt stand for?
Rhonda, I think the reason some don't like the picture taking is because of the fact they claim the dog is theirs. I have met a few people online that have caught people lying about owning a particular dog when it was not theirs.
