I'm so happy! LOL I know ya'll prolly think i'm crazy for being so exicted but I got a new wireless keyboard and mouse last night! I'm had a wireless mouse but not the keyboard. I got the set on sale last night at Wal-Mart for 68 bucks! Wooo Hooo Go Me! LOL
Hey stormy let me know how you like the keyboard.I have a brand new one thats still in the box(have had it for 2 yrs.)I have never felt the need for it.Is yours a logitech?
No mine is Microsoft. My last keyboard and mouse set was a Logitech, and I really liked it but I just needed wireless everything. So far i'm loving it. Execpt my son has already discovered that he can run off with both the keyboard and the mouse now!

I would kill for a laptop!!!! Sheesh, I could have used one a thousand times this year! I have the Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. I didn't think I would like the mouse, but I do, I wouldn't go back to one with a wire! lol
Plus the keyboard has all kinds of doohickies!! Half I never use, but some I use everyday.
OH!!! For the record....if your kids have a computer and they ever need to be restricted from the internet....oh...say for thing like....watching Paris Hilton videos......a wireless mouse and keyboard is great!!!! I just swoop them up and walk out with them!!! I have taken the mouse away a few times just for a smart mouth!! Man, does that tick them off!!! HEEHEE

Swooping up the mouse is a surefire way to keep one off the computer LOL! I saw a show on court TV that really creeped me out about kids being on the internet. It was about grown men who go to teen chat rooms and PM young girls and boys, as young as 10, for the purpose of hopefully meeting up with them in person to do things that they shouldn't. There is an organized website (can't post the site, material highly inappropriate) that catches these people by having volunteers pretend to be children. It usually only takes a few minutes for an adult to start private messaging the volunteers, who simply fill out a profile and lurk in the chat room. Anyway when the website catches the adult who is trying to set up a meeting for inappropriate business with what he thinks is a child, his name, address, and picture is posted publicly on the site, wife, neighbors, employer, other family members are all made aware. The chat in which they said very dirty things and tried to plan meetings with the "child" is displayed right under their picture.
There are some real sickos out there. I have talked to my kids over and over about avoiding strange conversations. They have come and got me a few times when they thought an adult was messing with them. I stepped right in and told the pervert to go away and I would report them. My kids even had someone threatening to come to their house to kill their mom through the xbox live game. ?? What the he!! is wrong with people????? Ty was all freaked out. ON the xbox, they wear a headphone/microphone and talk to each other directly. I could hear everything this whacko was saying. I reported them to xbox...I doubt they had anything done to them though.
I also do regular puter checks to see where all my kiddies have been!!!! You ought to hear the excuses I get!!!! "IT JUST POPPED UP" what they don't admit....I just accidentally clicked the sight!!!!! lmao
