I noticed on Thursday morning my kitten, Allie, was sneezing and she has a watery eye (yes, just one eye). She was going to the vet that day anyway so she checked her and she said if she keeps it up, to come and get her some antibiotics. I'm waiting on a call back from the other vet right now and my dad's going to run and get her meds.
Also, at the shelter, 3-4 cats were in there sneezing as well. I was thinking it was just an upper respiratory thing.
Heff...when i got Izzy I got her at the pound. When i saw her before I got her she seemed healthy. When I brought her home she got sick, sneezing and wheezing. Its common for cats to get upper repitory infections from the pound. The get vaccinated there but usually they are already exposed to it, and I believe it takes time for the vaccinations to actually kick in, if that makes sense. I took her to the Vet and they gave me some medicene that i had to give her and she got better.
