Me and shadow seen one yesterday, while we we on our walk. What a beautiful dog she was.I had never seen a brussel before that, only in pictures. She was beige and had a schnauzer cut.The lady said she was bigger than they had thought she would be,she looked to weight about 16 pounds. She was a beautiful dog.I was walking on the sidewalk and a car pulled up and stop and said oh I want him/her(talking about shadow)then she ask where do you live.Im thinking ,what are you going to steal my dog.Well, turns out they just live on the corner and she use to have a yorkie that died. So,I guess now I will be adding a brussel to my (growing)list.
shadow, get the movie "as good as it gets" with jack nicholson and helen hunt. excellent movie ! there is a brussels griffon in the movie. they call him verdell .he is so adorable. that is the first time i ever saw one myself and they are just toooooo cute. but the one in the movie is the cutest. and jack nicholson is at his best ever in the movie. but he IS my favorite actor of all time along with john wayne. lol
That's so funny that you mentioned that movie, the women I met yesterday did too.I have seen it ,and remember the dog,but can't recall the face.I love the movie.I wonder what the average size for a griff is?I'll look it up.
Those brussels in that movie were bred by my boss'es step mom, she's in Washington. The producer of the movie loved one of them some much he-she bought it. They are usally smaller say 10 lbs or so.
