I put frontline plus on my dogs on the 9th of each month and I was wondering if a day or two before (with this oatmeal flea and tick shampoo), they could have a bath and if that will effect the effectiveness(ha sounds funny) of the frontline when I reapply it?
From what I remember you shouldn't bathe them three days before or after you put the frontline on. I'm not too sure on this because I don't use any sort of flea or tick stuff. I am lucky enough to not have a problem in my yard.
Yeah bathe maybe a week beofre or after. These topicals are pretty much sucked into the fat follicles. But I have heard too If you bath a day or two after application it could wash some of it away.
ya, I'll do it 4-5 days before I apply it. I don't like to do it afterwards cause I'm afraid it'll decrease it's effectiveness. They just started it May 9th and it will end August 9th. We've never had real bad flea problems here but before Sophie, Joe would get them in the summertime.
