I've been meaning to ask you this for a week now, but have you seen the new Star Wars flick?? I really want to see it BAD!! I was just wondering what you thought of it. And I remembered you mentioning that you were into Star Wars, so that's why I asked you. Let me know, I want to see it soooo badly!! I wish I would've gone to the 12:01 am showing at the theater here, that would've been sweet!!! Gimme your thoughts!!
Nah. Theatres give me the creeps, haven't been to one in about 20 yrs. My friends all went. They do stuff on the weekends, so I can't go. I am going to Renaissance fair Monday with them[The Jedi Knights]. If they plan anything on a Monday or Tuesday, I'm there...
I haven't seen it but a gal at work went. She had no desire to go as she wasn't into that genre at all but went because her bf really wanted to go. She was so surprised - she loved it and said it was so good that it has actually made her want to see the previous ones.
I think that your psycic...I have been meaning to ask and just thought "you know..i have heard not one word about starwars" and media has it hiped...and you alwsys hear about the star wars following..My oldest went with school a few days ago to the new theater in town..she ws against it and idnt decide to go to that one until the day of the field trip...but she said she loved it..I personally have no desire to see it but I know many claim to love it..enjoy all those who care to see it..
Star Wars not my cup of tea either. But I have heard it is good. I am sure I will watch it eventually. I am not much of a movie person, but that is only because I have the patience of a gnat and can't sit still that long. Have to be working or something! (Talking to you guys!! lol)
My kids hate watching movies with me. I nit-pick everything to death. "Oh, yeah, like that could happen" or "wow...that was realistic" They usually end up telling me to be quiet! lol
I love funny movies, but some are just so stupid even I can't laugh.....like Anchorman! They have every line in that movie memorized. Among other movies! But I only laughed a couple times throughout it. I laughed more at them than the movie! lol
As mentioned before, I am for the oldies. Classics. But I am way out numbered on that one!
i think the funniest comedy i have ever seen is "trains, planes, and automobiles" with steve martin and john candy. i laughed through the whole movie, especially the part when they had to share a bed and when they woke up john candy had his arm around steve martin, with his lips on his ear. lol
My husband tried to download Star Wars from Limewire. It took something like 15 hours. Well, it was finally downloaded, and he pushed play-- here in the living room with the kids and my grandfather. Surprise! It was a porno instead! He had to turn off the monitor and the speakers really quick!
The Jerk, Willy Wonka (the classic one), and Monty Python and the Holy Grail are probably my favorite movies of all time.
Well, I'm back from the movie and I have to say this.................It was friggin awesome!!! Great fighting scenes, even though we all knew Anakin was going to be Darth Vader, I still loved it!! The way he got to be so, the day Luke and Leia were born, everything!! And you finally get to see what happened to Anakin/Darth Vader that made him look all old and ugly when Vader finally takes his mask off in the old one. It was great!! Can't wait to buy it and Attack of the Clones on DVD sometime when I get the money and when this one comes out!!
It, supposedly, is the best of all of them. I am glad you enjoyed it. The club I am in is the oldest Star Wars club, and the people we connect to are rather extensive. We always have looked up to George Lukas... I have hooked some great speakers for our meetings, an Executive Producer[Howard Kasanjian], an Academy award winning explosives expert,[Joseph Viskocil] and others... The neat thing, and the reason that I joined them, is they ARE GOOD PEOPLE, it is such a pleasure to be with them. Monday, we go to Crossroads Renaissance fair. We will look like Jedi, so you can find us. Tenative meeting place is noon, at the horse arena. The club is welcoming members of all ages, and[they put me in a cage] it is safe for young kids to join, all outings etc. are waaay too G-rated...
