Is it even possible for a cat to get a sore or scratchy throat if it hisses too much???
One of the new ones keeps hissing, especially the first day and now he makes these weird noises that I never heard before, like he is attempting to meow but cant get it out...lol. Anyways just curious, thanks!
I would imagine that cats could strain their throat just like a human can, but I "googled" it several ways and couldn't find any information on it... I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but... Does anyone else know?
Puppies that have the 24hr. separation anxiety, when in a new home will scream themselves completly hoarse. I had one, Dakota, that at 6 1/2 wks. yoodeled, yodeled, wailed, whined, barked, howled etc. for almost a whole day, until nothing came out. Then he was just fine the next day. Some animals are more vocal than others. Nothing to do but just just them vent...
it was weird, kind of hard to explain. Normally when you pick him up he gives a soft meow, but after all the hissing, i went to pick him up and it was this weird gurgling type noise but it was quiet, like his throat was hurting or something. Its no sound I ever heard from a cat, and I've had a few cats. It wasnt a meow, hiss, growl or trill. But he hasnt done it since lastnight.
