Sometimes we see a new person logged on (at the bottom of the page) and so we post a thread to welcome them. I know all the regular members, so when I see one that is new, I just start a post! Is that what you meant?
That's what I do too. It just lets them know that they don't have to introduce themselves if they dont' want to, but that we did notice they were there.
Thanks Jaw and Mollie..thats got to be it...I start at the top and work my way down...i dont start at the bottom and work my way up...lol...I was wondering if i was the only one not psychic as i seem to be the last one to know a new member has arrived..thanks for the heads up...

I check the bottom usually to be polite, and read the posts first of whoever may be there in case they have something to say before I am done reading. They may be long gone by the time I get to anything that concerns them, otherwise. Does depend on my mood, though, and what I feel like talking about. For instance, if another stupid "goodbye forever" post crops up, and the person is not listed below, I won't bother to write anything on that post, they are gone, so bu-bye, ya know. If they are fishing for a reaction, they better be sitting there waiting for it, but all I post on those is a bye-bye wave anyway. Weak people, and drama queens kinda turn my stomich...
he he he, I've been trying to figure out where ya'll were seeing the names at, but then i scrolled to the bottom of the screen, leaned in REAL close and i could actually read the "Users online" part. (it's sad that even with glasses it's hard to read the itty bitty print)
