I'll ask my son, he made his own once. Hes 17, I want one too. Usually your server provides free webspace if I am not correct, somebody tell me.

AOL gives you free space on frontpage/hometown(?) and i'm sure there are others.  I have an art program and i pay for a zftp account which is only 9.00 a month.  Here's my webpage:

dubbedesigns.zftp.com    Just do a search (aol, msn, explorer) and look for free webspace.  Not sure this helped any.........lol

Hey, I just made a website, thru Tripod. Check it out above. It was pretty easy. I did not click on any hobbys I like cause I was hoping for no pop ups.

I go through Geocities.  Just go to Geocities.com and you can you pagebuilder or whatever you want, the only requirement I believe is that you have a Yahoo ID

Thanks! Glad Missy inspired someone! I didn't choose tripod, but the site was moved there when Ivillage stopped hosting webpages.I was so glad that they moved them instead of just deleting them because with Missy being dead, the site is even more special to me than it was before.

I am thinking of checking to see if I can move the site to whatever personal webspace my ISP provides. Tripod seems to me to be a bit unreliable. One time it will load nicely, next time it takes so long that I give up.

I used Tripod once and canceled it later and they never stopped it and kept charging me for months.  Never got my money back either.
