I just posted on another thread and made reference to mods having a thankless job...and while scraching my head...I decided to make a thread stating that the mods here/everywhere do a thankless job and most of us would rather lop off an arm them do it for 1 day much less sign on to a forom for an indefinate peroid of time..they are never congradualted for doing the right thing yet chastised for making edits or deleting certain posts..if not for the mods and the rules in place then the whole thing would eventually unravel and fall aprt...The need for moderators is paramount...often they have to defuse issues before they blow up into crisises..and never do we say Hay..thanks for editing that post of mine.....we say why did so and so do that..she has it in for me..not necessarly so..im sure it is a daily fight with ones self to try to be as unbiased as possable..but do any of us realise how hard that has to be..and the amout of internet time they have to commit to..and the people who will cop and addittuude for doing what they have precieved as part of "their job" . Many times we totally decide to "not like them" just for doing what they volunteered to do...and the reason they volunteered to do it is to make our atmosphere here just that much better...i say...THANK YOU MODERATORS>>EVERYWHERE for doing a thankless job and doing so with stlye and with the best of intentions to make the cyber experence a better one..
