When they went in to do the triple bypass it turned into a "5 Bypass" as the doctor puts it. They also did an artery in the neck....how this man has been out walking, riding is harley and golfing is beyond me. But he is strong and stable at this point. I go tonight to see him for the first time since yesterday at 5:30 in the morning. You know how visits are in ICU, very limited. I am anxious to hear from my mom...can't seem to find her. I am thinking they let her spend a lot of time with him today. The only issue was he was bleeding more than they like after the surgery so they were keeping a close eye on him.
Blah...the stress is too much around here. I have put a call into my doctor to give me something to help me relax. I am not a pill person, but I am willing to do anything to calm my nerves at this point.
Well, I have some calls to make and have to get ready to head back to the hospital. Take care all.
I'm glad to hear his surgery went well. Your dad has been in my prayer's and I'll continue to pray for a speedy recovery and that you and your family will get through this with as little stress as possible.

Thanks guys, I am off to the hospital to see him now! I can't wait to hear his voice!! And see him alert!! lol
Sheesh, the course of the day seemed to have set my mind at ease about a lot of things. I made a few phone calls, handled some issues that needed to be dealt with and now I go see him. All is good.
The power of prayer and thought is an amazing thing, one should never try to go without it!!!!
MPP, I've missed all the news about your dad, but just wanted to let you know that I hope his recovery is going well. You and your family will be in my thoughts!
