I noticed the one on her chest the other day, it's drying up. She has a husky type coat and when she gets a bath, its outside so I never blow dryer. I think that may have caused it. Here's a pic of the one on her chest (Yes, I shaved her) I keep them clean with Sulfodene (hot spot stuff) and hydrocortisone creme
Here's the one on her tail I noticed yesterday, she looks so sad with part of her fur missing, ha!
That's what they look like to me, I once had a chow who would get one in the middle of her forehead once a year, got some med from the vet for it and she was fine
her coat is so dense that I didn't have a choice but to shave it. I am going to shave her down tomorrow (not all the way, just thin it out) so more air can get to her skin. I'll be sure if she gets a bath, to blowdry her next time. The one on her chest is dry and the one of her ail is trying to heal. I think I'll just use Sulfodene now because the cortisone creme may be keeping it too wet.
well, her hot spot on her tail is drying out really well, I'm sure they do itch, and I'll put hydrocortisone on them if I notice her scratching. It's a perfect place for those stupid mosquitoes to bite! >:0
