Okay.... Yeasterday after I got off work I decided to hurry up and go get my hair trimmed. Well, bad idea. I should have just waited to make an apppontment with my wonderful lady. All I can say is that I will wearing a ponytail until I can make an appointment. All I asked the girl to do is trim and she took off 4 inches maybe more. And it has no shape to it. I hate it!!!!!! But it looks fine up. LOL!!!!And I'm not even sure if its even. All she was saying was the she had never seen hair as thick as mine. Bad sign.... Oh well, I have learned my lesson. Stick with who I like and not go to a place like that.
I think my mother would have done a better job. Actually I know she would have because she has trimed my hair before. And I wasn't asking for a cut just a slight trim. Maybe an inch.
I definately can't sympathize with the thick hair, lol. My hair isn't super thin, but it's definately not thick. I feel your pain though. My hair has always been long, like to my bra line or alittle bit longer. And this one time, I wanted a change, so I asked the lady to cut my hair so that it would be just several inches longer than my shoulders. She cut it TO my shoulders and I felt so naked! Lol. I was so mad!

LMMFAO!! Why is everyone apologizing to me?? It's not like I make any money off you guys, none of you live close enough for me to cut your hair anyway!! But sorry, Paige, you should've asked me where to NOT get your hair done. I don't mean to be a traitor to my business, but places like Cost Cutters, Regis, Smart Styles, places in malls and Wal-Marts like that really aren't the best place to go for a trim. Yeah, you were right in going there for a QUICK trim, but they seldom do for you what you want them to. They're just there to make a quick buck, that's why you're in and out in under 15 min. I've had to correct some MAJOR haircuts from there. The salon I work at is a privately owned biz and I think it feels much more comfortable and cozy, since there are only 3 chairs and 5 stylists to choose from. We've also got like 12 other privately owned salons in my town of 7k people. LOL. No need to apologize, just good thing you learned your lesson, Paige!!
It was a Regis in the mall. LOL!!! I figured that they wouldn't mess up a simple trim. I should have said something to the lady but I was so mad I just left.
Paige, now you know not to EVER go to any of those places, they work on a commission that says that they need to do so many haircuts in 1 hour. At my place, I could take a whole hour just for a haircut if I wanted to, but I do want to make money and that won't make any for me. lol. Now you know, and knowing is 1/2 the battle. GI JOE!!!!!
A couple of years back I went to a place called MasterCuts and had them trim my hair. Afterwards I went back to work and my asst. manager was just as furious as I when she saw it! we took pictures and then she called the place and demanded my money back. She made me leave work and go get my money back because the lady did such a horrible job. I know it sounds bad, but I'm a firm believer if they didn't do what they were told to do, you get money back or off at least (same way in a restaurant)
