Very reluctantly, (and I cannot emphasize the very strongly enough ), dh agreed to getting another pup!! Can't do the Portuguese Water Dog, so I have to go with my mutt theme and get Kula another cockapoo to hang with. I never really stopped looking, so I already have a few in mind...how 'bout the face on this little guy??
What a sweetie. See your hubby was just not up for a big one. Whatever you do don't buy thru Annas grooming in So. Calif. She also has a website and also sells cockerpoos. She is evil. The website name has to do with cockerpoos. We had one when I was a kid. Your looks very much like him but no white chin.
Definitely won't be going through Anna's. This little guy comes from the same breeder as Kula, so we know he delivers a healthy, quality pup. Isn't he adorable?? I'm used to a black dog though....are white dogs impossible to keep clean?

I'm trying to post pics of the little sable girls that's abother to choice, but they're kind of big and not as clear as the one of the little boy. She basically has the dark mix of colors that he has around his eyes and on his ears all over her body. She's beautiful...and probably easier to keep clean!
Only if they roll in dirt, I would think. Lilly is easy to keep clean. Brushing the dirt on the hair gets it off. She only gets a bath maybe every three weeks. If mud is around and her paws are dirty, I just rinse in the sink.
What about their faces though? Kula has a little white beard and it has gotten dark from always being in his food bowl. I wash his face after every meal, but it is still much darker than the beautiful white on his chest. I know there has to be some simple way to keep them clean...there are so many beautiful white dogs around! I'll have to just keep looking around for some tips....
Meanwhile, I'm going back and forth between the two pups....male or female, dark or light, familiar breeder or new territory (although I feel completely comfortable with the breeders of the sable and phantom pups I'm looking at). UGH...why do they all have to be so dang cute??
