The gal who runs the obed school boards dogs for her students. She has been away for the week & won't be home til tonight and one of her students was leaving early this AM on vacation. So Farley & Chloe have a friend over for a sleep-over last nite & tonight. Brody is a 7 mo Golden Retriever & he is an absolute sweetheart! He has met many dogs at obed. school but has never been able to actually play with another one.
It is sweet watching him try to play but he really isn't sure. My 2 are quite boisterous when they play and his tail starts going a mile a minute as he watches them. But once they come close to him and want to include him in the fun he plops right down & rolls over until they go away. He is very submissive. We have, however, inside had 3 games of fetch going at one time with no problems whatsoever.
My 2 don't know what to make of it - since I free feed them and don't want any problems their bowls have disappeared & only come out when I feed him in his crate. And of course, Farley has decided that Brody's food smells so much better that he tries to figure out how to get that bowl out of the crate, lays there whining and totally ignoring his food.
Brody has also taught me that my house is no longer puppyproof. The things he has found! So needless to say while Brody is with us I won't be on line too much as I will be doing alot of "No, Brody! Drop it!"
OH! That sounds like soooo much fun! I love puppies. Dorothy keeps telling me I should start training again but I don't know could help with the money situation and I do enjoy it.
