Over the course of the next several weeks I am going to be accepting photos of animals from which I will choose a forum mascot. In celebration of 6 months of being here, I want to give us an 'image' to be known by. July 31st, will be 6 months for us!
Here are the rules:
You can submit photos, artwork, digital graphics, drawings, etc. Any form of art is acceptable.
All entries can be done by you or anyone else, even copywritten photos. Just be sure to include the photographers (or artists) contact info (or the website it came from) so that I can get permission to use the photo if it is a photo that was not taken by you or other artwork not done by you.
Any domestic animal is eligible (in other words, no zebras).
If the work is done by you, you must agree that I can alter the image. If it is done by someone else, I will discuss that with the original owner.
You can post the photo/art here, PM it to me, or send it to my email.
Credit will be given to the owner of the artwork/photo here on The Furum
If you have any questions, ask away. I am going to try and have this ready by July 31st, so I will need all entries to be in by July 25th. Also, if you have any ideas for the name of our new mascot, please post them here.
This is a different idea but what we did on another board I was on was picked a regular poster ( such as Oasis Puttin etc...) and the regulars would post a picture of their animal and everyone would vote and whoever won would be the mascot. The owner wrote a little artical about the animal it's personality etc..
Your idea is great also just throwing in another idea.
