Ok well Coffee is officially deemed pregnant. Lik I didn't suspect it all along lol. The last time I was away I wan in Chicago and I was gone about a week. When I came back EVERY male cat in the neighborhood was on my back patio! That was the 20th of last month. She had been going out all week while I was gone. So now we are expecting kittens and I am MAD! but there is nothing I can do now. I am mad because I never wanted her to have kittens and this was her first heat! I know there are a lot of kats that need homes and I am just the responsable type that would keep them all rather then them run the neighborhood but still I had one female and wanted her kept INSIDE away from prowling males until I could afford to get her fized. Now it is too late! Now it is gonna cost me a ton of money to get all the kittens fixed and I will have to find them good homes or keep them until I do.
The males were relentless geeze one even tore through the screen in my den to get to her! My dogs nearly killed that cat! I came home and immediatly put her on lockdown hoping against hope it was not too late. Well it was! Nothing I can do now but wait for the kittens I guess.
BTW anyone want a kitten???

it is so true how the males come from all over ,some even miles away. but whats done is done and it looks like you will be having some babies. kittens are so cute. i dont know about your area, but here the local aspca has a cinderella fund for people that cant afford to alter their pets. you just send in the application and they send you a certificate to take to the vet for a free spay/neuter. i have a hard time looking at kittens because then i want one.lol i am sure you will find good homes for them.
Well I have been told (not sure how true this is) that their first litters are usually small ones only a couple of kittens. So perhaps it won't be too bad. People ask me all the time wqhy I have so many pets when I have money problemss. Well Before they ask again lol I didn't always have money problems. I made good money working in construction but I got laid off indefinatly and worked over by my last boss. I went from having an income of 1,800.00 a week to about 1200.00 a month. So ouch you can see why things are tight. I am not going to get rid of all my pets simply because we are having a rough spell. But your right dusty whats done is done. Wish hubby was more watchful but he is the one that plays all the time and feeds them and I am the one who watches for the heat cycle and does the flea bathing and keeps track of the heart worm meds and so on. Eventually after my custody battle is done we will be back on track. I will post pictures of momma tonight and the kittens when they are born.
