to post on a thread your opinion if it conflicts with the ones who are mods on chat and folders? I gave my opinion about Lalaya being daisymom76...and i personally really like her..i have to go by how she has treated and acted to me...over time..she has been nice and funny and a good internet person to talk to...as many are on here too...I dont know why she did it..it was never discussed...but it isnt any diferent then all the trolls who are from here either...so...what is the grip?
I have personally gone on tp and stated that i liked people..I hate to do this but ill name names here..i said i liked Dusty and didnt understand why she was banned...and eventually she was unbanned..so it isnt just on this site that i say my opinions..I do it over there too..but i was not jumped on by ANYONE there..no one waited for me in chats to get on me for publically saying i like a certain person or i think something was unfair..I think all of this is scare tactics for all the newest members who go to TP and tf...if any one was going to get banned from FF and tp it would be me for openly stating i liked and praised Jawlaw...and PITS.(.but she missed that day...she didnt see it..)...I was never questioned about it..never did any one say...what are you thinking??? Nothing..so..many who give opinions of those folks are wrong..it isnt that way at all...I am living proof.
So...new cross over members..dont be afraid that you have to choose..cuz you dont..they wont ban you...they wont hurrass you or gang up on your next post..it happens here..but i have yet to have a negative comment on tp from a regular...so...whats wrong with this picture that was made and posted for you all here....it is only one sided. And if you ever decide to give the other side of the coin argument in this place..chances are you will get stomped for it..

Huron, there is nothing at all wrong with what you said about still liking Lalayla. That is fine by me, you're entitled to your own opinion. Doesn't mean anyone else has to like it, but it does mean that they should accept it for what it is: an opinion. Everyone has them, not everyone has the same one. That's it. That's what makes a good discussion forum. I agree with you that you shouldn't have been jumped on for a differing opinion. You are allowed to like who you want to like and you don't have to like everyone and not everyone has to like you. That's just how it is in the world, nothing wrong at all with that. I truly hope you didn't mean everyone in your "band of thugs" or whatever statement in the other post.
nope molie..the band knows who they are..i am not making a general statment about the site members as a whole...im one for Gods sakes..I just think that is 10 people can say "oh man...shes sick, she eveil, shes this shes that..it is only fair to say HAy..i have had no personal issues with her..she has been nice to me..i think that we dont all have to jump on band wagons just because some one says jump...thats stupid...i know it isnt a popular opinion...but i didnt single any one out to say hay...so in so...your wrong..whats wrong with you...i simple stated from my point of view..thats all i have is my preception to go on...and my preception is stating that you can give a simular opinon on tp and not hear word one..i have done it plenty...especially the last month or so..and i can say..i persoanlly like lalay...and all heck breaks loose..seem like double standards to me..and i see with 20/20 vision who is behide it all..no questions asked..

Mollie I did not jump on her because she has a different opinion I am just so sick of her comments about US and what WE do when most of the time it is not even us! Then when one of them does it and admits it she has nothing but nice to say about it. None of us has doen what lalayla has done because contrary to popular belief we have lives. Jawlaw, Ansy and I have been the prime targets for most of the trash going on "other places" and it isn't us. We have openly admitted to what ever we have done. Not a one of us lied to an entire forum membership and gained trust to the degree of discussing personal issues. NEVER have we ever done these things. Do you realize the kind of mentality it takes for a person to do what lalayla did? And then brag about it trying to justify it? That is just mental. Many of us knew she was not to be trusted but there were innocent members here that did not deserve this. And to stick up for someone after all that is disgusting. So what she likes her I simply gave my opinion that that is typical of her. But she has stuck up for her trying to justify her actions with the same ole same ole saying we have done this and that.
Jawlaw and I have been accused of using over 50 alternate names elsewhere. Know what ??? I have used TWO! And at no time did i ever pull what lalayla has. It is one thing to have this lil fude between a few people but when you victimize an entire forum of innocent people that is just sickning. No telling how many members who have been banned were banned elsewhere because of voicing their opinion in a chat or a private folder.

Stomped for it? I openly invite anyone interested in seeing the other side to request access to the tp folder or visit the FF message board. I beg them to see the other side...lol We won't stomp you....in fact we;ll lead you there hand in hand. Their comments are so nasty over there that the person who runs Talk City had to step in this morning and make them stop! That hasn't happened to us and it won't. Why? Because although we have opinions about things, we are tactful with it.

I'm sorry, but I just have to say that this is not true. While this may be true for you ansy (and this is NOT directed at you) but I was in fact "stomped" on for even being present on the FF forum. I wanted to know what the heck was going on and went over there and my mere PRESENCE got me instantly banned from chat, without so much as a chance for explanation. While I have recieved a half-hearted apology and was willing to let it go, when I read this, i just HAD to comment. Not only was I instantly booted out of chat AND banned--but when I returned to FF someone (i wonder who) had gone and made variations on my names (megblink, megbink, megstink). A little juvenile if you ask me. I'm not taking the "other side" at all--in fact I am pretty sure I am banned from FF (I cant access the page anymore). So dont think I'm one of "them"--im just a normal person who wants to chat about their pets!

half hearted apology? lol... i don't think so. I apologized for being so quick to boot you. However, as you know, we have had several spies coming in to cause trouble. At first, you just sat in the chatroom without speaking. And you had just been in ff chatroom, so I figured you were spying. However, you explained yourself to me and I apologized for being so quick to kick you out.

Apologies are all about tone. WHile you said the words "iim sorry" you prefaced it by justifying why it was acceptable to do what you did (ie, just sitting there and not knowing what "FF" meant). Even after I explained a zillion times why I didn't knwo what you were talking about you STILL are insisting that i was "just sitting there." I was in the chat room for probably like 60 seconds before I got the boot. That is what is bothering me, that in both PMs (which are I guess not "private" anymore) and even still in your last post you are justifying what you did by my "suspicious" behavior. That negates apologies in my eyes.
Whatever though, it doesn't matter--my point in posting at all was that the initial "appeal" of this forum is that you DONT get judged for being members at other places. Ansy's post was encouraging people to go to FF and see what was going on and reassuring us that we would not be "stomped on." Since I was in fact "stomped on" last night that statement couldn't be farther from the truth! Apology or no apology, I was in fact banned for the VERY thing that Ansy was URGING people to do. That was my point in posting. But you did not respond to that, you rather are focusing on the sufficiency and validity of your non-private messages! That is not the point!
No- there is a BIG difference here. First of all, you would not have been given an apology at all. You would not have been given an explanation. You would not have been given the chance to come back on. You would more than likely also be banned from the forum.
So, no...there is no similarities between the two.

Megbrink, I am going to comment on this in a PM to you. I will gladly say it here if you like. What I said above still stands and I will make sure everyone (including the mods) abide by that. If you read your PM, I hope that you will understand.
I accept some responsibility for this because there have been issues lately with name stealing on TC and I instructed the mods to ban anyone from chat who doesn't say who they are. I know some of you just come to chat to read and that is fine, but be sure to let the mods know who you are if you have a strange or new name or have never/rarely came to chat in the past (we can't remember everyone...lol). Jawlaw now feels very bad about this, but she was acting on what I had told her to do. I hope you understand.
I understand where Jaw is coming from. When I am in chat and someone new comes in I like to know who they are or if someone comes in and says nothing I am also suspisious(sp)... But I guess thats just me and the curiousity gets the best of me. LOL!!!
But other than that I try to stay out of all the drama as much as I can. I could care less if everyone is part of 30 different forums. And Huron maybe you do defend everyone everywhere. Great!! But when I was banned at TP over a stupid heartworm question no one was defending me. I haven't even checked to see if the name paigebeverly was unbanned but I could care less. If they ban me over something so stupid then I have no reason to go there and post. I am better than that.
