Hey! You breed Labs right? I have a question for ya if you dont mind.


One of my dogs Winnie is a black lab, she is stocky, looks like everyother lab i have seen.


My friend got a Lab puppy about 3 months ago, his name is Jack. Jack is a very lean, lanky Lab. I saw Jack's brother Bob and he is full grown, and more lanky and lean, then stocky. There is a definite differnece between the majority of stocky labs i have seen and then these lanky lean ones. I actually kind of like the look of the lankier thinner lab.


Are there two differnt types of labs to make one stocky and one lean and lanky? Which is the preferred body type for a lab? Thanks!
