Keep an eye on her stools for blood, and if she pukes and won't eat, she has an obstruction. Better secure your trash cans...that is an easily fatal trap for dogs...
She didn't get them from the trash can she took them right out of my hand and ran. By the time I caught her she had already eaten them. She has never acted this way before and my uncle left about a week ago and had brought some steak left overs and gave them to trinity after we told him not to because ever since then she begs for human food and that what we were trying to avoid.
Yea now I'm having trouble of getting her to not beg when I'm eating food. She basicly puts her nose right into my food and won't leave me alone. I have even tried giving her one of her treats while I was eating so she would leave me alone and let me eat but she didn't want her treat she wanted my food.
I know that for a little while Oscar would beg something awful. It got bad enough that I had to put him outside while we ate ot I would block him in the kitchen. But now he will get under the kitchen table and sleep. I guess he decided that he would rather be in the room with us then shut out.
buy some bullysticks. most feed stores carry them. dogs love them and they will keep them occupied for hours. i am leary of alot of bones. pork chop bones are sharp and can easily become lodged in the throats. they imo are just as bad as chicken bones
I've tried to lock her in the kitchen but I have to use a baby gate and she will jump over it but if I put it a little bit higher so she can't jump over it then she will try to crawl underneath it and then push it out of the door way.
Dusty I didn't give them to her on purpose she took them from me. The only human food she has is peanut butter and I put that in her kong ball when I leave the house.
Oscar was the same way with a baby gate. He would jump over it but it only took him one time to land on top of it and break it. He stopped jumping over it after that. Scared the cr*p out of him.
