when god created earth and man
was he aware what he'd began?
a world diseased with sin and hate
where man could choose his brothers fate
 
where poverty and crime rate high
and thousands of us starve and die
animal life on land and sea
destroyed by rubbish and debris
 
the prejudice of black and white
with each one feeling he is right
and who are they that will decide?
yet still allow them both their pride
 
a cry for peace can still be heard
but peace is a forgotten word
there is no love between the lands
and will they ever join in hands?
 
yes man is his own enemy
in search of what may never be
a second chance to start again
and bring about a peace of men
