My husband and I went away on Thursday to a spa in the Chesepeake Bay. We left the kids with grandma and I spent 4 days in the spa and he played golf for 4 days. We had such a wonderful time. We picked the kids up around 5 today and now we're home. I left the puppies with a sitter. They stayed with one of their teachers at day care. I had to get the kids home and put them to bed so I couldn't go get them tonight. She's going to take them to day care with her in the morning and I'm going to go pick them up. I have been okay without them over the weekend but I have missed them and my kids of course. But now that I'm home and I don't have them here, I miss them so much. I'm glad I have someone I can trust and I don't have to leave them in a kennel but I miss them now. My husband keeps telling me to calm down. He says I spent all weekend in a spa, relaxing and now I'm home stressing myself out again.
On another note if anyone is looking for a relaxing weekend check-out the Chesepeake Hyatt Regency in the Chesepeake Bay. My husband and I stay at spas often but this one is the best one yet. They also had a golf course on campus so he didn't have to go anywhere. They have 3 pools and one has a huge waterslide. The hot tub and the indoor pool is open all night. We have already made reservations to go back in August and we are going to take the kids and the dogs. They have Camp Hyatt for the kids so we can still spa and golf while the kids are in camp. They also have an on-sight day care for the dogs.

I forgot to say this. I think this was my favorite. We went to a restaraunt called Suicide Bridge Restaraunt. My husband and I ordered the all you can eat crabs. I had never eaten them before so I thought I'd give it a try. They bring this big plate of crabs over and dump it in the middle of the table and they give you a wooden mallet to beat them open with. It was so much fun! I didn't eat very much because they really weren't that good, or maybe they were but I couldn't get over their eyes staring at me, but they sure were fun to hit with a mallet. I got rid of a lot of frustration!

lol .. great name for a restaurant!, i like crab but its the claws (when you pull the piece out whole still in a claw shape) that make me feel queasy.. there all floppy an weird .. i know what you mean about missing your puppies .... i miss Harvey loads even when i just go on a day trip .. i'm gonna miss him terrible when i go to South-Africa an Spas .. god do i love them .. my friends works at onbe so i get free day passes .. its like heaven
Look at me, with the easy way out. I have crab claw, raw and precleaned from China, in a vac pac that I bought this week from a Chinese supermarket...about a pound of it...
