So who's a Potter fan

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I read Harry Potter. Yes, I'm 30 years old. <hangs head>

That being said, there's no WAY I'm not the only one! The new one goes on sale tomorrow at midnight. Sooooo, tuck the kids in, kiss hubby goodnight, go pic up my book, get a large dunkin donuts coffee, and read.

Anyone else? (feel free to lie just to make me feel less of a loser)

I am a total potter head, lol. I'm 24 and have read all the books too many times to count. I also will be waiting at midnight on Friday to pick up my copy

I think the thing about her books is that, yes they are geared towards children, but her writing style makes it really easy to picture everything, and I love books like that. I'm a bigtime Lord of the Rings geek as well

Not a big reader of books, I just like the movies. LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, you know.

Hey, I got that set when I was in middle school!! I don't think I ever got past the first 2 books, since there was 1 book before The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Did you know they're coming out with a LWW movie now?? I can't wait to see that!! I also liked the Wrinkle in Time books. Those were pretty darn cool too!!

yeah i went bonkers when i heard they were bringing a film out .... they are using Weta to design props, sets etc .. the same people who done LOTR so the look of the film will definately be amazing .. hopefully they wont muck up the story ..

When I was in middle school I loved the RL Stine books. They were scary novels. But in 8th grade and so on I read Patricia Cornwell or anything else that is scary. I also like the true story books. I can usually finish a big thick book in a day. Brad hates it when I get a new book.

I am a harry potter freak...well not so bad I don't buy anything other than the books or movies :) I couldn't put my name on a pre order list because I dont have an address or anything yet :(  I did at least get my name on the list and MIGHT be able to pick it up sunday morning or something....who knows though.  I too have read the chronicles of Narnia.  I bought the whole set as one book and was pleasantly surprised by the ending (I had only read one or two of the books as a kid) I knew CS lewis wrote religious books, but I didn't realize that was where he was going with the chronicles!!

Paige! I used to read those too! Did you ever read Christopher Pike books too? My all time favorite was 'Remember Me'. Even as an adult I can still read that book. Anyone looking for something easy to read in a day that has a neat mystery type plot should read it, lol.

I loved that book. Did he do the books about the vampire lady? There were a few of them. I just don't remember right now. And my computer is really messed up too much to do a search. But yeah...I loved his books. I still have a few at my moms.

I love harry potter too. I have read and re-read all of the books multiple times. My boyfriend and I were just discussing how we were going to get our copy because we both work until midnight tomarrow night. We have a copy pre-ordered at the local borders but we were thinking about going up to wal-mart and picking up an extra one because there is no way we can share it. :)
