Nope, sorry but it sounds like you are going to do a great thing.  They need protection for cats where i live.....there is none

i did some volunteer work at our local shelter, but it got to be too much for me. i was coming home and crying myself to sleep at night over the ones that didnt find homes. i had considered fostering ,but i wouldnt be able to give them up when the time comes. i have two cats that i am fostering now, but only because the neighbor passed away and the family was going to drop them off at the shelter.if you know anyone interested here is their pic

i was worried at first how they would get along with my cat, but they do fine. and my gsd just licks them like they were his own kids. i just couldnt let them go to the shelter, so if i cant find them a home i guess i will just have three cats ! lol

i have also thought about helping out at the shelters but my house would be full by the end of the week with cats... im a sucker when it comes to animals that need re-homing and i get way over emotional with the abused animals ..

To be honest i dont know how i will cope leaving all those cats and kitens in a cold shelter while i come home to a lovely warm house but as long as i can give them all abit of tlc and make sure they are fed and watered then im sure i will feel a bit better.

I will keep you all posted on things im going to phone them back on monday and finalise all the details etc.

As much as I would love to help out in a situation like that, it would kill me. I am not strong enough emotionally, I would feel guilty all the time.

I know nothing about it.  I know we have a great place here called CatsN'Us.....they do great work.

As much as I would like to help at the shelters, I can not do it.  I would be a wreck all the time. I cry too much looking at them.  I help at our pet supply, they have rescues there. Yesterday, for the first time watching a couple drive away with the last of one litter, I left saddness happiness and got teary eyed. Hoping for the best for that pup. Usually I am full of happiness seeing them go.
